I have my michael schenker V and i LOVE IT. it feels like all i'll ever need, but I'm still saving up for either a gibson les paul ( white with floyd rose with tremolo and EMG pickups. i swear i saw it and was like " that's so freaky. must have")
or a razorback. if i can manage to find it, a RAZORBACK FROM HELL.
as for your guitar needs, if you're looking to play heavy complicated stuff ,I'd reccomend the Ibanez. If you want to woprk more on chord construction and BASIC rock, go for the squier. though squiers are poorly made ( though fender is superb, go figure), they're decent enough to get you through your playing.
