Clover nodded her head in reply, letting little to no emotion show. "Well, I guess this will be a challenge." She never gave it much thought, but didn't mind much either way. It wasn't the easy way out that she was accustomed to. Clover felt a bit uneasy at this thought. Was it wise involving herself in a noble's matters? She had to let herself just believe that there was no other way. Clover sighed in reply to Epotheros' question, "It no longer exists. How about you, do you have a home?"

He let out a sigh, before speaking to her.
"I have no idea. I can only remember about three years of my past. If had a place to come from it would be Lord Baragoon's castle. He just found me one day, laying wounded in the fields. He then nused me back to health and taught me how to fight."

Clover listened to Epotheros with some concern. She thought how empty one’s life must be, not being able to remember anything of one’s past. Her life was nothing special, but at least she could remember it. She remembered the murderers she had shot down and the families she helped. Other than those people she had passed in life she had no one. She preferred it that way. Thinking about Epoteros’ situation for a bit she commented, “He must be a kind person, this lord who saved your life.”

"I guess you could say that. He is by the way, the closest thing i can remember to being a father figure. He always told me to fight for what I see as the right path. This may be a reason why I came on this mission, I have to see what this artifact is all about."

Clover’s gaze drifted about the surveying the area as she listened . “Yeah, I’m not too sure about this whole artifact thing myself. Probably just a noble with a hobby of collecting artifacts and such.” Clover knew that what she had said was more than likely false, but believing this was a bit more comforting.

A clearing appeared into view as the travalers abroached it. It had an open area of about 30 yards surrounded by thick trees and a stream with a water fall running next to it.
"This looks like a good place to camp for the night. We did leave the town a little late in the day and night is approaching. It will also give Tramer a chance to catch up."
He then turned to Clover, "so what do you think?"

(( I'm going to go to dinner now. I'll be back in an hour or so.)) Clover looked about as they approached a large clearing. Her eyes lit up. She could feel the wind’s presence strongly in this place.
“It’s perfect,” she quickly replied to Epotheros. With such a strong presence of the wind’s aura, this was more than a safe location to set up camp for the night. Clover rode Alfie to the stream and dismounted letting him quench his thirst. She gave a soft click towards Amicus who then flew up to a nearby tree and perched himself on a high branch.

"I'm so gald you like it," he said with a smile.
"I doubt it will rain tonight so we could use the tarps on the ground to keep the dew off of our blankets and clothes. For the mean time I am going to collect some fire wood and latter I'll take Kamots out for a hunt."
He then walks off into the forrest to look for some wood to start up a fire, which is the most necessary part of survival in the woods.

For the first time in a while Clover smiled. Maybe this journey would be bearable. She nodded agreeing to Epotheros’ words. As Epotheros went to gather wood she took the tarps and laid them on a flat strip of earth. Clover circled the tarps tugging at thier corners, attempting to straighten any creases that were produced when she laid it down. After she was satisfied with the tarp she took her quiver from her back, sat down on one of the tarp’s edges and began inspecting her arrows for any imperfections.

((Wow, I have good timing, I got on like 4 minutes ago, after shoveling snow.))
Epotheros walks back to the encampment from the dark shadows of the forest, carrying a few logs and a handfull of smalling sticks. He placed them on the ground and made a circle out of several stones. Next he arranged the wood in a triangle typ shape and place the smaller sticks, dried leaves inside of it for the kindling. He then stuck his hand in it and snapped his fingers causing a small flame to appear and ignite the kindling. He then turned over to Clover.
"There we go the fire is up and roaring. I see you have already got the tarps set up, now were did I put those bllankets?"

Clover was almost done inspecting her last arrow when she noticed Epotheros emerge from the forest. She watched as he set up the ring. Her eyes widened with amusement when she saw him start the fire with only a snap. How interesting, she thought to herself. Of course there were stranger things out there. Clover was still impressed by what she had just witnessed. Clover shook her head trying to return from her thoughts when she heard Epotheros speak. She acknowledge what he said, but stayed where she was. She had no idea where the blankets were.

After checking the cart for the blankets, which were no were to be found he stood there for a few moments.
"Seems Tramer still has them," He said in a slightly annoyed tone. "Oh, well I'm sure if it gets to cold we still have the cold gear."
Epotheros then walked over to where Clover was sitting and kneeled down next to her. "I'm going to take Kamots out and look for some food, he seems to be getting a little restless. I'll be back in a little while."
He then held out a small flask full of powder. "just pour this powder on the fire if you need anything. It will send a collom of thick black smoke into the air when poured in."
Epotheros then handed her the flask of powder and raa off into the forest with Kamots following.

A small smirk skated across Clover’s face. Irony always made her laugh inside. She figured the cold gear would suffice, and hopefully Tramer would be arrive soon. A slightly confused look shown on Clover’s face when Epotheros walked over to her and kneeled beside her. She listened to his explanation of the powder. She nodded, though she knew nothing would happen. Even if it did, she could fend for herself rather well. She took the flask to appease him, and watched him and Kamot dart into the forest.
“Great now what’ll I do?” she asked under her breath in a slightly sarcastic tone. She looked up towards the trees and clicked her mouth. Within moments Amicus flew down to her perching on her now held out arm. “Well friend, this is going to be a long journey,” she commented to Amicus who cocked his head to the side and then began surveying the area turning his neck every which way.

Epotheros peeks out from behind a thick shrub at a small dwarf deer, carefree, chewig on bits of grass and vegitation. Kamots quickly and silently snuck around the clearing the deer was feeding in. With a burst of speed he lunged onto the deer, gripping onto its neck with his large canines. It was Epotheros' turn for action as he jump out from behind his hidding spot and finished the deer off with his knife.
Epotheros then knelt on the ground and said a quick prayer for the deer and for him recieving it's nurishing meat. With that he picked up the carcus and carried it back to the towards the camp.

Clover sat patiently with Amicus, who occasionally left her arm to circle the clearing, but then returned to perch on his new companion’s arm that was now resting on Clover’s knee. Clover starred into the fire, boredom consuming her. She felt the warmth of the fire and began to fall asleep where she was sitting as Amicus came and went.
