If he were psychic, he’d agree with her. He was often shy around other people. He’d spent so many years around animals that he’d lost touch with humanity and isolated himself and his emotions. Animals were unconditionally loving, unlike humans who often used and abused someone’s emotions for personal gain. This was new to him. He was treading unfamiliar waters and he'd have to admit to himself that he liked it.
He thought it was odd that she hadn't taken the sunglasses, but smiled anyways and taking her hand he gently set tem in her grasp. "It's so amazing..." he said in awe, nodding, watching the lights dance like the aurora borealis of the ocean. "They're dancing just for us, wanting to make us feel better." How stupid did that sound?! Jordan couldn't help but feel a bit flush as he said that, his cheeks a bit redder than before. Warmer as well.

She held the glasses a bit closer to her, peering to look at the spectacle that was unfolding in front of them. As stupid as it sounded, she couldn't help but think that he was right. They had to be, right ?
She reddned a bit as well as the situation started to finally dawn on her. She had never been physically this close to a man that wasn't her father. It made her shy a bit, but she didn't want to go. Not as long as he would let her stay here, that is. She... liked it.

There was no denying Jordan was blushing beet red. He couldn't hide it even if he tried. The white fur lining his face illuminated the apple tinted redness. He was naive enough, but he too was realising this was cozy. It was a great feeling being so close to someone like this. Then he realized that he had his paws on her bare skin and it made him wiggle a bit.
Jordan nudged her cheek gently with his, whispering softly. "How're you holding up?" his paw flexed on her stomach. "I'm..." he bit his lip, looking shy as he usually would "I've.." his words were getting stuck in his throat, so he just hugged her gently. "I needed the comfort as much as you did.. thank you for staying with me."
The lights were incredble. They dazzled him for sure. "Maybe we should get you home, so you can rest. I'd be honored if I could walk you to your duplex. And.." he was choking on his words again. "..if you don't want to be alone just yet.." he blushed harder, trying to hide it under a paw now, which only brought more attention to it. ".. I could keep you company for a little longer... I know that I wish someone had been there for me during my change.. And you must be tired." he was stammering like a high school kid, but in their short time together, they'd been through so much. Supporting one another.

Her brown scale did hide her own red cheeks sightly, but not completely. The way he blushed was so cute, and she couldn't help but smile, not realizing she looked pretty much the same.
"Shure." She said, slowly working her way to her feet. "I don't mhind. Im a bit thired, but not that bhad..." Talking was a bit annoying - stupid beak getting in the way.
Company did sound like a good thing. Still holding the precious sunglasses, she went on her way, leading him to her duplex.
