I'm rather fond of that fireplace; I like how it came out. 4laugh (I had a good reference.) I used it for my sister's gift edit.

i dig ur fireplace background too, battleaxe, tho in the future, id like to see u use greater contrast with the lights n darks in ur shading.. itd make all ur great little details pop out that much more. 3nodding
n ur still so great for makin golden boy edits whee

yea girly, i understand ur desire for realistic shading & rendering, but gaian avatars & items are all cartoonish chibis anyway.. so i approach my edits as if they were cartoony illustrations. thas just the way i work i guess 3nodding
haha and actually.. i noticed this during the weekend! while relaxin on my deck, i was admiring the foliage in the trees n bushes below. i thought "the shading & texture on the individual leaves look fantastic, but they could do with a darker outline to separate each leaf a bit more." ........i guess ive been editing too much over the past week mrgreen
