Even if Tommy had normal human hands, the shake would have been awkward for Jordan. He was still gettign used to grasping with his new paws and this was as good practice as antything. He tried hard not to scratch Tommy with his claws, trying to make the shake firm and assertive. A lot could be said from a hand shake.
He nodded. "I'm sure we'll see each other around. I'll know where and when to find you, too." he smiled a bit. That was good, right? "Uhm, so whenever you have the time or see anyone you know would be into the get-together, spread the word and I'll do the same. Seeya."
He left as calmly as he could, but as soon as he was out the door, it could be heard his claws scrambling on the ground into a run.

Tommy's hands would seem frail to Jordan and he tries not to wince from the firm handshake. After that, he just nods and grins at all the right times, "Yeah man, totally. Rock on."
His grin drops as Jordan walks out the door and his sharp ears hear the running. He lets out a sigh and leans back in the couch. "******** hell..." he mutters to no one. In the background, he hears Roger Rabbit say something about this hitting you like a ton of bricks.
"You're tellin' me..."
