Jarel isn't hurt enough to allow an armbar to be locked in, so he throws a left jab at him as Cartwright seemed to have forgotten he had two arms

Cartwright gets knocked to the mat by Jarels left jab as he failed to hook Jarel in the armbar. Cartwright rolls out of the ring holding his face and then goes to grab the ladder that was left on the outside.

Jarel picks up one of the two ladders already in the ring and throws it out at Cartwright

Cartwright gets hit with the thrown ladder as he lifted his own. He is sent crashing into the side of the announcers table.

Jarel goes out after him and picks up the ladder he'd thrown, and while Cartwright is against the table, goes to smash the ladder into his face, therefore sort of squashing his head between the wooden table and the metal ladder

Cartwright recieves a big thump from the ladder which sends him jumping backwards, trying to avoid it but failing. He lies on his back on the announce table after taking such a hit.

Jarel lays the ladder down on the ground and then steps up onto the table with Cartwright. He goes to pull Cartwright up and chokeslam him through the second announcer's table, not the table they were on but the second one (kinda like the undertaker did JBL in their last ride match at No Mercy 2004)

((I remember seeing the photos!))
Cartwright gets pulled up to his feet and then gripped by Jarels hand around his throat. Cartwright is lifted on the first announcers table but is chokeslammed through the Spanish announcers table instead with great force. The table collapses as Cartwright lands right in the center of said table.

to make sure he'd stay down a bit longer, Jarel picks up the ladder and throws it at him again, then climbs back into the ring again, since there was still one ladder left in there still in the center of the ring. he goes to climb up it and again reach for the title

The ladder is thrown at Cartwrights weak body. Jarel begins to climb the ladder but Cartwright has difficulty getting up. Using the ladder on top of him and the first announcers table, Cartwright slowly gets to his feet but Jarel is halfway up the ladder!
Cartwright is getting desperate. With only a ladder in his right hand he would try to throw it under the bottom rope, hoping that his ladder would slow Jarel down by causing his to wobble.

the ladder does indeed wobble but being that Jarel is so tall, he only has to be about halfway up to reach the title, so he continues trying to pull it down

A fast moving figure tore through the crowd and jumped the secerity rail, only then did it become apparent on who it was, Diego Alva. He slid into the ring and pushed on the ladder, hoping to throw Jarel to the outside. The crowd is shocked that Diego is even here after being kicked out of the building earlier than night!
((there is going to be hell to pay for this one ahah))

Cartwright is confused. The guy who turned on him in EEW's very first PPV, December To Dismember, is assisting him! Maybe Diego hates Jarel just a little bit more for some unknown reason. Is Diego jealous of Jarel being the number one contender to the greatest championship EEW has to offer?
