- Strike without Mercy - They're both masterpieces in there own way! Although, I prefer outgoing, because then she actually fights in battle instead of throwing cures around and summoning. I mean, an gun! How cool is that! Out going Yuna's hair is better too. No matter how much I loved X-2 though, it was a pretty flimsy game, it had a cool ending, but alot of the game didn't stick to the plot, and it had alot of irelevent stuff...but still, i love how once her purpose is gone, Yuna dedicates herself straight away to finding her lost love! I hate to disagree, but according to percentages in the strategy guide, Yuna spends exactly 4.9% of X-2 looking for Tidus, including the fight with the last boss... (Her hair is better, though.)

I like first Yuna's hair actually.
And I hate her long ponytail thing in the second game.

AlisynLuffsJapan I like first Yuna's hair actually. And I hate her long ponytail thing in the second game. xD I think I like the ponytail; it just confuses me how it can grow that much in two years! gonk Maybe it's an Al Bhed thing? My best guess is that her hair doesn't actually go all the way down, but that would be stupid to just have a little tuft of hair at the bottom...

lol I can just imagine Yuna. Some fiend thing rips off her fake ponytail.
"Oh, crap no!!"
But luckily Tidus, being an idiot (not really just for convenience lol) just thinks the fiend was magically strong enough to rip her hair out. But then he picks it up to give it to her and the hair falls out.
"What the crap?"
He picks it up and looks at it and then at Yuna.
"Why the heck did you cut off a piece of your hair and stick it on the bottom of a long thready thingy?"
Yuna sighs. "Okay, you got me. I don't have magical growing hair like Harry Potter."
Tidus dumps her.
xD
wow i'm feeling random today. razz
but Calli does the same thing! she's like 5 in the first game and then she's like 13! lol

THe worst thing about it is, I think, the immense and total change. Neither personality is really bad, but they just don't match up. It's believable that she might loosen up a little, but she's lost almost everything that made her Yuna, you know? It's like two totally separate people with the same name and almost the same face.
First Yuna's better, in my opinion. (I like her first hair better)

Yeah, I dunno. It does seem like a big change. Yuna (in the second one) has decided to stop being as mature and proper in the first one. I guess it just goes to show how big of a shadow Sin casted upon her. She was ready to give her life for it.
I'm not sure. I do like the second Yuna more, though. I just felt she seemed more down to Earth, (even though she's in Spira.) and she felt like someone I knew.

X-2 annoys me because about 70% of the game is cheesy and, in my opinion, boring. Like, i dont care about some little midget getting chased around for money in the Moonflow (PS: it bothers me that we never actually see the actual moonflow like when the moon comes out and the river "glows [This is described in FFX]) or about digging up pointless stuff on a pointless island, nor do i care for a moogle costume handing out baloons, i believe i made my point.
Yuna changed big-time, i dont care what ppl say, but the change isnt good or bad in my opinion.

Don't even get me started. Oh, God.
Can't remember who said it, but: Yuna turned into Rikku, and Rikku turned into Super Rikku minus the clothes.
Yuna amused me, but it's not a believable change, IMO. Hence why I started writing some stupid fan fiction where she died over, and over, and over, and over... like Kenny.
Die, Kenny, die!

I think the change was somewhat drastic and weird...Sure, if you saved the world and didn't have anything else important to do for a few years, you'd change...but the personalities seem to be almost oppasite in some situations, but very similar in others. As for which one was better, I really don't have an opinion; they were just different. Different personality, same Yuna. smile

I myself haven't played FFX-2 but I really liked Yuna's shy personality in FFX. Although there was one part that was really annoying in the game when Yuna and Tidus were laughing like crazy people! I really like the shy girls, and if Yuna turns out to be more outgoing in the newer one, I'd rather not play it.
