And no sooner had she sat down, she had to give an introduction? Oh well, she grimaced slightly as she stood up again. It couldn't be that bad, it seemed to be a tradition schools liked to do every start of the year, wasn't it?
What was she supposed to say? She glanced at all the faces, both familiar and unfamiliar. She had missed their introductions, so she was rather at a loss of what to say. Okay, firstly name.
"I'm Minori Sagawa, uh...well, my parents are fashion designers. Maybe you've heard of them...but...umm..."
She was getting awfully nervous, she realised. Being at the centre of attraction in front of people, those she had just met and some of which were strangers, always left her a little tongue tied. What did Miss Ayame say again? Oh yes, interests.
"I've taken ballet since I was young. I like, well, what a normal teenager does, shopping, the internet, television, video games, animals, all the usual stuff."
That should be all, right? Flashing a smile around the room, she sat down on her seat. She was the last one, so there was no one she could, or should, point to.

"Okay then!" Ayame smiled, narrowing her eyes a little. She went to the front of her desk, and sat on the table. Rubbing her chin, she nodded, "Okay, I'll leave the decision to you guys... Would you like to elect a class president now, or later in the week?"
{OOCly, everyone have to make a decision by voting in RP!}
"Okay, those who already have someone in mind andwish to elect now, please raise your hand. If you do not wish to elect now... Well, just don't raise your hands!"

The girl whistled innocently when Takumi shot a mock glare at her. She offered a sweet smile back, and a happy wave. Then, quiet and alert, she watched as the introductions went around.
Mitsuko grinned at Roka when he was done his introduction, her light green eyes as bright and happy as usual. "Glad it's done with, Roka-kun? But you did well! And really, if you ask me, you seemed pretty collected and certain of what you were doing." She whispered, glancing at the teacher and hoping that she wouldn't mind a little whispering.
The girl blinked in surprise as Minori returned to the room and, after seemingly exchanging a few words with Miss Ayame, walked over to a seat by her. Mitsuko offered her a large smile but, before she could say anything, Minori was chosen to give her introduction.
When the girl was done, Mitsuko tilted her head to the side, her eyes curious, and sparkling. "You do ballet, Minori-chan?" She asked, looking like a very young, curious child. "You must be very good then, if you started when you were young!"
Then, realizing Miss Ayame was speaking, Mitsuko turned her head for a moment, to listen to her, intently. When she was done, the girl furrowed her brows, and glanced around. But there were so many people here who would make great class presidents? After a moment, she rose a hand, giving it a little wave to catch the teacher's attention.
"Miss Ayame? What responsibilities and the like will come with the job of class president?" Mitsuko asked curiously, blinking a few times.

Yamada, Yamada... Ah, that's right. He remembered the boy now from middle school. His sister Ena had brought up the Yamada brand in one of her happy rants, and he suspected she owned a few clothings from that line as well. Well, that's one mystery solved, he thought happily. Perhaps I can get reacquainted with him.
Takumi turned to listen to Minori's introduction and then offered her a small smile as she sat down. Opening his mouth to speak, he was forced to pause as Mitsuko suddenly cut him off. He gave her another annoyed look, though his eyes gave away his joking manner. Takumi started to say something again and was cut off once more, this time by Miss Ayame. He sighed comically before turning back to face the front of the class.
Hm... class president? Takumi mused once Ayame had finished. He didn't have the slightest idea as of yet for whom to elect and so decided to keep his hand down.

Mitsuko was rather fascinated with the fact that she did ballet. Minori gave her a rather sheepish grin, she couldn't say she was very good, there were times that Madame admonished her for having her head in the clouds instead of concentrating. But then again, there were compliments...
With a rueful grin at the memories, Minori half-listened to Miss Ayame's introduction. Class president? Well, for sure, she didn't want to have a part in any leadership activities. Not when the last time...she gave a slight wince as she rubbed at a spot on her arm; if she pushed the sleeve up, one could see that there was a bruise there.
Still...a flash appeared in her eyes. She knew who to elect. Putting her hand up, she waved slightly to catch the teacher's attention. "Miss Ayame, I elect Mitsuko." Why not? The girl seem to care much for those around her, which meant that she would listen to each and everyone before making decisions that would benefit everyone.

"One nominee!" Ayame smiled, writing down the name on the whiteboard. Turning around to face the class again, she nodded at Mitsuko. "Well, a class president handles a lot of the admin work. Like... Say it's Halloween, and he or she would have to come up with an idea for an event together with the class. He would be the head of the 'project', and the other class committee members would help."
She paused, musing to herself before she added, "Ah, and the class president might need to make decisions for the class sometimes. For example, during school events, the president might be asked to help with the overall event while the class takes lesser responsibility. You have to learn how to be responsible, and be a good leader; Listen to the other's opinions, but do what you think would benefit the group as a whole."
"Of course, the lass vice-chairman would have to share these responsibilities."
--
Kiyoshi looked at the teacher, and frowned a little. Class president? Isn't it a little too soon? In his opinion, it might be best to wait until the week is over and everyone is acquainted before making such a big decision. His thoughts however, were interrupted as Mitsuko was elected to be class president. Quickly, his thoughts changed as he remembered her personality.
He raised his hand up, "I second Miss Minori's opinion. I think that Miss Mitsuko would make an excellent class president."

[[ o3o *decides to make a small post for the heck of it* XD LIVE. LIIIIVE. ]]
Returning a bright grin of her own in response to Minori's sheepish one. Elbows on her desk, the girl locked her fingers together, head tilted to the side when the other girl put up her hand, and spoke. Though she listened intently, it took her a few moments to process the infomation. When she did, the girl squeaked in surprise, slipping off her chair again and slamming her elbow against the side of her desk. Pulling herself upright, Mitsuko winced for a moment, noticeable tears gathering in her eyes as her elbow stung. After a moment of rubbing it, she turned her still teary gaze towards Minori.
"Me?" She hadn't really been expecting that. Though being a class president did sound fun, her parents had once told her that they believed she wouldn't make a great leader. Which...was probably true. She was quite the pushover at times, and was too carefree.
Using the back of her hand to wipe the small tears away, she blinked at Kiyoshi as he too rose his hand to nominate her. She was still startled, as well as flattered as well. Turning her green eyes to Kiyoshi, and then Minori, she gave them a flattered grin. "You know you're risking the possibility of having a class president who trips over her own feet if you vote for me, right?"

Roka smiled wickedly at the timid boy he had chosen as hs victim. He wasn't aware that anyone else other than himself had known what it was like living with so many other sisters. Only Kohaku-kun's sisters were apperantly all older than him, and he had one more to deal with than Roka did.
No wonder he seems so quiet, the silver-haired student thought, appraising the shy boy with his gleaming forest-green eyes. I couldn't imagine what it must like to be the youngest and the only boy...
He looked up as Kohaku sat down and Minori entered the room. He was glad she had made it back in time. She appeared slightly disheaveled, but realieved about something. Raising a brow, he dismissed it after a while, reminding himself again that day that he shouldn't be concerning himself with others' business.
Her intro was breif, but intriguing. He hadn't realized she took ballet. And another fashion designer? My my, Roka pondered to himself. We do have a good many students in Class 1-A interested in fashion.
Roka caught Mitsuko's grin and offered a small smile in return. "Indeed. I did?" he asked, scratching his head at her compliment. "Heh...well, truth be told, I had absolutely no idea. But thank you." He watched as she went over to check up on Minori, wondering if he should do the same, but deciding this was not the appropriate time. Miss Ayame seemed ready to give further instructions.
Listening, he frowned, not realizing they would be allowed to vote so early in the year. Then again, as social as this school was, everyone was already supposed to know everyone else. Even as Roka was new and hadn't met many others yet, he surprised himself by discovering he already had someone in mind. Who better to direct and lead the class in its decisions than Mitsuko? Minori and Kiyoshi had chosen well.
Mitsuko was understanding, bold, a good listener, and responsible enough. Her cheerful attitude and charismatic popularity didn't hurt either. She had a way of making things seem more fun. Roka raised a hand. "I third that notion, Miss Ayame."
Stifling a laugh at Mitsuko's clumsy action, he shook his head and beamed at her. "Of course," he answered courteously. "What better president than someone wh can make the whole class smile? Not only with her opinions, but also with her mistakes?"

Akira barreled into the classroom. He knew he was late, but then again, that was the fault of his chariot-drivers. They hadn't pushed the steeds fast enough, and thus it resulted in his tardiness. But what was this? So many people already! Princes and Princesses like himself - ahh, but with a few common peasants mixed into the bunch, and a fair few of the fair folk. Elves never had been his thing. Always snooty, and thinking they were better than him. He paused in the doorway, and smoothed his uniform, glancing around. He hadn't taken his medication this morning, not that he needed it. The forest inside was absolutely lovely.
"What a bright and beautiful morning it is!" he cried [despite the fact that it wasn't exactly 'morning' anymore.]
With a happy sigh, he sat himself on one of the toadstools nearest the big oak stump, and crossed his legs in front of him, dreamily staring off into the distance, where his castle was proudly displaying the colors of his court. No courtiers here, though. He wondered who would teach the class. Perhaps he or she would be better than that awful mole that served as his nurse. Or the stork-butler that had dropped him off today.
To the rest of the students, Akira seemed to be sitting on top of a desk near the front, heedless that his position on it was about to make it tip. His black hair was disheveled, as if only hastily combed, and about the only thing on him that was 'neat' was his uniform. He smiled sweetly at the others, and waved to a couple, as though not really seeing them, but seeing THROUGH them. And he spoke to his pen as if it were alive.
"How droll this seems, dearest companion..."
Akira sighed, and glanced towards his faithful fairy. She'd never deserted him. Ever.
"I do hope something of action occurs shortly - or I shall be forced to play the hand of fate, and come UP with something to do. You know how that went last time."
His fairy chittered at him angrily.
"Yes, yes, I know! I know I have to be careful. You'd think the Queen would know better not to give her son such a dangerous mission, but then again - Mother's not exactly the brightest bulb in our family, love her as I do and must..."
He looked up to a faun [in actuality, another student] passing by him.
"Say, do you know the way back to the castle from here? I believe I will need that information before the end of the day - My carriage has run off, and my coachmen with it. Dogs, they. Mind - I have nothing against dogs, but Mother insisting on using them as coachmen.... I wouldn't be surprised if they started barking and chased the horses into one of the meadows nearby. I shall have to search when I have a free moment."
As delusional as the child was, he definitely wasn't a QUIET one. AND he seemed completely unaware that he'd walked in on the middle of something until just now. He blinked, and turned to the faun again.
"Oh, I am TERRIBLY sorry. I did not realize you were in the middle of such an important gathering... "

Roka stared. He couldn't help it. The more the newcomer opened his mouth, the more nonsense seemed to tumble out of it. 'Bright and beautiful morning'? Where'd he get that idea? Then again, Roka just felt differently considering his morning had been somewhat spoiled. Not that he blamed anyone, of course. It had just been a random turn of events, as it seemed the coming of this new student was.
With an emerald-green gaze, he watched the young man take his seat not at his chair, but on his desk top. Just who did this student think he was? He seemed to be in a trance of some sort, as if under hypnosis. Should he even have been in school?!
Even as he watched, the delusional boy began to speak to his pen, calling it his 'dearest companion,' and it was then and there that Roka decided the guy must have been a very lonely person indeed. He wondered if he suffered from some resulting disease, such as schizophrenia. Mitsuko would be sure to know about it. He'd have to ask her later.
Beginning to fear what 'hand of fate' the young man felt he would be forced to play, Roka rose from his seat, suddenly uncomfortable with his position in the room. Tucking back a lock of long silver hair behind his ear nervously, he approached his fellow classmate, hoping against hope that the guy had perhaps entered the wrong classroom and that he might be able to lead him out and find his own. Unfortunately as he bore the Ouran school uniform for boys, it was proof that new student hadn't accidentally stumbled into the wrong school.
Approaching the boy's desk, Roka tugged at his hair absently, a feminine habit picked up from his sisters. Without realizing this action, he leaned forward seriously to face his fellow classmate and looked him straight in the eye.
"Excuse me," he began, speaking in a quiet tone as to not draw the rest of the class's attention to himself, "But are you quite certain you're in the right place? This is the Ouran Academy, Class 1A. I, uh...I don't believe there are horses in the meadows nearby, at least not that I know of..." he trailed off, frowing at the student, wondering if he was taking in any of his words and comprehending.
