Lunathiel stared at him wide-eyed. He had never acted like this before but then she didn't really blame him. This was an exciting moment though hers was making her stomach do flip flops. As he nuzzled into her she blushed softly then pulled gently on a lock of his mane. Somehow a movement she used so frequently felt like more to her now. She tugged gently again then dropped it as a sudden thought reached her head.
"We're gonna have to tell Amoena. We can't hide it from her...or we could at least tell Safi. He can keep her from trouble." She didn't like breaking the mood so much but that had to be out there. If it wasn't there would be trouble and a lot of it. Though even with it hanging about she still rubbed against his cheek happily trying to show that even though she wasn't bouncing she was happy.

He faltered slightly at the sound of her daughter's name, cringing visibly at the physical reminders of his encounter with her. How would she take this? She certainly wouldn't be happy with him, that was for sure... but, he supposed, he would deal with it as it came. Not only that, he realized with a wince as a sharp stinging pain struck his broken ribs, he would have to deal with the immediate repercussions of his foolishness- he'd been too euphoric to feel the pain of his injuries before, but now that the adrenaline was wearing off, he was feeling less than healthy. Still, he wasn't going to let it dampen the joy he felt.
A soft, contented sigh befell the stallion's lips as he returned the affectionate gesture, offering a bright smile as he spoke. "I can tell her, if it would help. The furball will have to be told as well, and I can pretty much guarantee that she won't be happy, either." A lopsided grin adorned his face as he met her eyes once more, nosing a cerulean forelock away from her eyes. "I won't let them keep you from me, though." He paused a moment, considering the best way to approach the situation. "Should we go tell them now, or would you prefer to deal with it later?"

"Not now..."She said trying to think of a way around this. She had to go back to the teepee at some point to look after Mushyn and her daughter came back at least once a week to check up. "Well...maybe now. We don't have much of a choice." She sighed and shuffled about a bit. It would be a long walk to her home though, perhaps they could get a plan together by then.
"Shadow...would you like to come home with me? I'd rather not face Amoena's wrath alone and there are a few things I'd like to...discuss...with you..." She flicked her blue curled tail to the side before turning around keeping one eye locked with his. Turning her head around she flicked an ear and started to make her way out of the forest. Her home was not far from this place, maybe a mile perhaps a bit more, but she wanted to get there soon and check that Amoena was no where in sight.
If she was there then blood would be flying before any words were spoken. If she wasn't then Lunathiel would have time to plan and find a way to calm the girl before she got a chance to move.

"I would be delighted to return with you, Miss Luna. I can try to take the brunt of Miss Amoena's wrath, if it makes you feel any better," he offered another sheepish grin, shifting uneasily as he met her gaze again. In truth, he was only half joking- while he was sure Amoena would never do anything to hurt her mother, whether or not she would attack him was another story. Unfortunately, there was nothing that he could really do about it besides prepare for the worst.
Stepping forward to join her on the journey down the well-worn dirt path that she had come from, he steeled himself internally for the argument he knew would ensue from telling Amoena of the latest development... not to mention Kumori. Still, he thought with a happy smile, whatever came, the two of them would deal with it together.
