Most of the people I know have either read Twilight or heard about it. So it's either: "Ohmigish, I LOVE that book! It's so good!" or, "I've heard about that book way too much. Vampires? Ewl, NO!" Or-OR~! "Oh, Stephanie's been begging me to read that book...is it any good?" o__o'' My school is rather odd.

I carried New Moon around with me today.
I really wish I had someone to talk about it with, so I always carry it cover out on top of everything else, hoping someone who has read it will see it. xd

I'm reduced to just saying "Vampires" when people ask me what I'm reading about. Then they say, "Oh, I don't like scary books" and move on to other things. My friends are treated to an in-depth summary any time they ask me what I'm reading about. They don't ask me any more. Muhahaha twisted

Neo_Qeen_Serenity Alisox Vampire Alice Next time you get that question, you should say it's about Aliens that look like ducks/penguins (your choice) taking over the world, but they can only come out at Twilight or the New Moon. Sorry, I'm in happy hyper...randomness mood. Forgive me? And they loveeee apples! xD Know who else LOVES apples? Death Gods. =D (Cheesy Death Note reference)xD; Gotta love Death Note. ^_~

Vampire Bella I'm a little shy to admit I'm interested in vampires or supernatural creatures at all to people who don't know me very well. I'm not very open, and I like my friends to know me for who I am and other people to view me as relatively normal. This hasn't happened with Twilight or New Moon, as I read them both during the summer before I started school, or even Sunshine, which I'm reading now. But I recently got a tattoo of the kanji for "vampire" and am worried about people asking what it means, which they will inevitably do, if they see it. I freaked my fiance's English professor out (He immigrated from China). "That means bloodsucker! Vampire! ...Who did this to you?!" - Dr. Lee Since it's three vertical kanji, I've decided to tell people who ask that it means "Live, Laugh, Love" or something cutesy like that. You know how open I am. ^^;

I bought it at the school book fair so I was browsing and people would ask me what the book I bought was I don't really like explaining so I just give them the book they look at the back and read the part where it says and third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him
then they gave me weird looks...

My friend and I carried Twilight and New Moon around at school xD We got 12 people to read it! (including my English teacher and guys, GUYS ) Heh, Oh the boys loved it ;D
I know what you all mean by saying that it's about 'vampires' when someone asks what it's about. Peoply usually say 'Oh, sounds boring' or 'OMG I hate scary books' and I always react as 'No it's not like that ! stressed ' and I'm left trying to go all out in detail but I get all muddled up and they just give me weird 'Ahh okay nevermind' looks sweatdrop
My fellow Twilight-crazy friend was holding New Moon without the Jacket in math class and the teacher was all 'What is that? The Bible?"
But now , pretty much all my friends know what Twilight is or have read it, so it's all good wink
