Well, yes, I may be able to help you, but as she is in my charge, I would like to know why you are looking for her and where you come from.

Ahh yes, I know of that Village and I know of a woman who is training to be a priestess there -- could that be you?

MOYLENA

I don't know that she has any knowledge, but there is a Wizard visiting the castle that has mentioned them.

Come, follow me, I will take you to them.

** Turns and walks towards the castle. Enters and ventures to the library -- notices that the only person there is the Princess **

MOYLENA: Princess, where has everyone gone?

SWEET: Ah, Moylena, I was wondering where you went. Those dang men went off to try to hatch a plan. But I don't know if it will work. I think we need to put our heads together and we might come up with one of our own.

Who is this you have brought?

MOYLENA: This is Serenity, she is from a neighboring village and she has been seeking you out.

SWEET: Well hello Serenity, welcome to our Kingdom, how may I help you?

SWEET

I don't have too much knowledge about them, only that the Wizard Dridel has been searching for them also. He has found a few and feels that there is another close to here.

I will introduce you to him when they exit the conservatory. In the meantime, is there anything else I can help you with?

**ponders**

SWEET

SWEET: Moylena, while I bring Serenity up to speed, please go get us some refreshments.

MOYLENA: Yes, your highness

**Moylena exits the room**

**putting her arm over Serenity's shoulder, escorts her to the sette where they sit **

SWEET: Well you see, my father has promised my hand in marriage to an Evil King -- King Mordrid -- do you know of him? Anyway, if this marriage goes forward the peace and harmony of the Kingdom will be forever lost. I do not wish to go through with it, but if I don't a war will be started and it is inevitable that we will lose as we do not have the warriors that King Mordrid has. I wish there was a way that we could build up our forces and the strength of the men. I have been practicing magic since I have been young and I can cast strengthening spells, but as you know they only last so long. I can also create potions that will aid the men. But that doesn't help when we don't have the numbers that King Mordrid has.

Besides, too many people would die in a war. On top of that, Prince Mordrid has come to my father also seeking to keep the wedding from going forward and now there is a commander from King Mordrid's Castle here demanding we release him, and he isn't even being held against his will!

We must think of something!

**Jumps up and starts pacing the library**

Well, we must start making a list

**goes to desk and takes out paper, dips quill and begins writing**

OK, well -- here is one column, it says KING MORDRID and here is another it says KINGDOM, meaning ours. What other columns do we need?

Under King Mordrid, he has been married before, and I heard he was so cruel to her that she ended up taking her own life rather than stay married to him.

He is in need of a second wife because although he has an heir, he wants a second son just in case. He wants to rule many kingdoms. He has lots of gold because of all the extortion he does.

Under Kingdom, peaceful and harmonious, but poor. The marriage contract was entered into to bring gold into the Kingdom.

What else should we put?

SWEET

**Moylena enters with refreshments and places them on the table by the sette**

SWEET: Thank you Moylena, please join us and help. We are making a list in the hopes it will stir an idea.

**Moylena looks over Sweets shoulder and reads what has been listed**

SWEET: That would be a good idea, Serenity, do you think you can go to your village and gather some men? How many do you think you have? Maybe we will go with you so that we can explore the area, just in case I need to disappear in the dark of night.

MOYLENA: Sweet, I have made the preparations for that, but I don't want to do it unless it is a last resort. Let us try to find another avenue.

SWEET: *sighs* Yes, Moylena.

**Suddenly Brightens**

SWEET: What if we were to find another woman, of high caliber who can entice King Mordrid out of this contract? Do we know any such woman? Or even want to subject them to King Mordrid. I do hear that despite his being evil, he is quite handsome.

MOYLENA: That is a thought, and they don't necessarily have to marry him, just entice him, maybe even drop some herbs in his lager......

SWEET: What do you think, Serenity?

**looks eagerly at Serenity**

SWEET

**Sweet smiles and nods at Serenity**

SWEET: Moylena, go get our traveling cloaks, I want to be off immediately.

MOYLENA: Right away, I will also have cook prepare a basket lunch.

**Moylena leaves library**

SWEET: Thank you Serenity, I think that is a wonderful idea. At a minimum, it gives us the opportunity to assess the men of your village and recruit them. And with any luck, your Sister will have ideas and be of great assistance.

**Moylena re-enters with cloaks, places one on Sweet **

MOYLENA: I have ordered a coach, it should be around front immediately

SWEET: Excellent. Serenity, how did you travel? Would you like a ride in the coach?
