No one wants to think about their baby getting topped by Sailor Mercury's sarcastic kid with a strap-on.
NO ONE. D:

*Falls over and starts to convulse at all the confusion, and him unable to keep up with everyone.* All I know is that I am finally going to get my first season of Wedding Peach in. Cost $38.97. Once I get that, I will be about half-way caugt up with you guys. Sorry that I am so lost, and that it has taken me so long to get the anime. *Tries not to cry at being so dense and lost.*

It's okay, Billy - even if you know what's going on, we're still confusing. XD
Where are you getting it from? If you search eBay, you can get the entire series for that price. surprised

I guess that would probably be true. A lot of things confuse me, and to be around confusing people doesn't help any. lopl. Really? Darn. I should have gone to eBay. I went to Target. I tried the online store things first. I never think of those places. I can't believe it. Oh, well. At least I will have the first season of Wedding Peach. You know, love peach, I just noticed that your name has a color........ That means that not only are you a mod. for this guild, but....... You are an admin?!?!?!?!? *Bows down to her feet.* I didn't know. Forgive my ignorance. I shall kiss your feet, admin. *Kisses her feet.*

I honestly have no idea what the colors mean, 'cause I see your name in a blue color. It may just mean I'm a guild captain, but I have no idea, really. *shrug*

Really? My name is in the default for Gaian's black color. Yours is the blue color. And only people like Admin's. have color around their names. That is just how things like that work.

That's only for forum/global/admin moderators. And their names aren't blue - they're orange, purple, and I believe two different shades of green. And my own name appears black, while yours appears blue. I've had that happen in other places, too, so I don't know what it means.

Quote: Srsly. (I say this, loving Sailor Moon. But even I admit when a series has more plot holes than a Thomas English Muffin has nooks and crannies) Fixed your sentence, there. mrgreen
Very sweet article (given some formatting. wink ) and very compelling an argument. I'm acutally hard-pressed to consider the two series identical outside of a few base traits. It's, in my opinion (which is GOD AND LAW AROUND HERE WOOT) that it is a lazy reviewer or fan that would immediately dismiss Wedding Peach as Sailor Moon Lite.
Taking on to Momo's point, there's a LOT of mythos involved in both, but the theme/feel is very different in Sailor Moon, which is a semi-retelling of several old fairytales and myths, as opposed to the two to three sources WP utilizes. This is one of the two online sources I've found to be a very eye-opening read on themes and characteristics of Sailor Moon--there is one on Wedding Peach as well, but Momo's already covered the main part.
To my own point, I always prefer to openly challenge people to treat any two pieces of a genre the same. It takes away their blanket of security, and--love or hate--forces them to sit through and partake of the second sample. Wedding Peach, in this case. Actually, I'm challenging a friend right now to make the examination. She seems to ADORE Sailor Moon, but readily shirks from anything else close to the genre. Her claim is "not enough action/powa level over NINE-THOUSAAAAAAAAAAAAND!!1!1!". Silly girl needs to look a little harder at Rayearth, Peach, and the like, methinks. 3nodding

I can't help it ur baby is scary, Hiromi. D:
Also, yeah - for some people, there is one Sailor Moon and only one Sailor Moon and thou shalt have no other Sailor Moons before thee. Which is kinda closed-minded, considering the genre thing is alive and well in Japan and certainly in American comics culture (come on - Cyke and Jean show up in an issue of WildC.A.T.S.).
