SubtleAnarchy Yikes, creepy. x{
I would just make sure that people know that YOU are you, not the impostor. Other than that, there isn't much you can do. Usually confronting people like that means giving them what they want:Your attention. So really the only thing to do is ignore then Dx . • . • . • . Close your heart to every love but mine . . . xD;; Just making sure:: They're not copying/impersonating me; they took a picture off of a site [with members and all] and claimed them as their own.
I confronted them, actually. So did my sister. rofl We caught them lying... They said one thing to my sister but something different to me. + their pic look different from each other. Well, their real pic compared to the one they claimed they were.
+ =_=;; I'm not good at ignoring, and I don't want people to go on thinking that they're a nice person who who has talents [but displaying someone else doing that 'talent'] and all that. I just.. feel mad about it.
blaugh
. . . Hold no one in your arms but me. .::.

I'm an artist, and I can't stand it when people claim work as their own, I know how I'd feel if someone took my art and went around telling people they did it.
My friend did that... she took some random picture of a fairy off the net, and commented it to someone on myspace saying she drew it, scanned it, shopped it and all, and she apologized for it being crappy. Now, I know that girl can't draw worth crap.. she always makes me draw things for her. It wasn't my art, but gawd, argh, that stuff irritates me.

I know exactly what you are talking about, Kirei! I draw, too, and I remember quite a while ago (I was in 10th grade, so about 4 years ago), my best friend started to draw, as well. She copied my style so badly, and also posted on dA, as well. It annoyed me endlessly...because of the lack of credit and the fact that her art looked SO similar to mine. The only difference was that her anatomy was a bit off; I had already been drawing for a couple years, and she had just started.
Art theft makes me so angry, especially direct theft like the kind you are talking about. It has NO point at all. o_o It's much more rewarding to get praise from something you took the time to make, as opposed to something you ripped off of somewhere else.

It wasn't my art, but I KNOW it wasn't hers.

@__@ Man, what's up with people... This is just an online site, so why do people try soo hard to fake themselves? It's rare that these people would find each other in real life [unless they're really good friends].
