Everyone knows that I like yaoi/slash. Most of my friends are okay with because I don't force them to read it or anything, but sometime it makes them uncomfortable.
My parents know by accident. My stepfather found a cache of fanfic websites I forgot to delete and read a NC-17 fic that I had read... They weren't happy but they can't do much to stop it so they just ignore it. I'm glad I have mildly open-minded parents.
Hell, my boyfriend knows. I told him to his face. It surprised him, at first, but now he likes to tease me about how gay men turn me on.

Just about everybody knows how much I like slash/yaoi... except my family... mainly because they're not really open-minded. My mom pretty much freaked when she had found out that I had rented the book "Boy Meets Boy" from the library...

PardalisCatt Any time I want to buy a yaoi manga I have to save the little money I get and buy it myself becuase though mom wont really say anything if the cover doesnt reveal anything since she doesnt bother to glance at any of the pages my grandmother is the only one with a car and she loves the fact I always want to go to Barnes and Noble but she has to read a few pages and skim through as we stand on line, then she asks me what the story is about in depth on the ride home.
She did it once when I got the last two books of FAKE... I held my breath the whole time on line x-X She is afraid of me coloring even a strand of my hair and hearing I was splatter painting my room? Im still hearing about it(three mounths later), so her knowing about my yaoi loving would not be fun...She would never buy me another manga. crying But most of my friends know and dont care since they all are...then again they are also crazy. -nods- My mom bought my first two volumes of Gravitation (without knowing it was yaoi), and has often driven me to the mall so I could get my fangirl on in the bookstore. I don't know if she realizes most of the stuff I buy is yaoi... I understand about the grandma thing. Mine just recently decided to disown me because I dyed my hair red. It was absurd, really. I would never tell her about my interests in BL because she is such a homophobe. Even though my uncle (now deceased) was gay. She even said this woman shouldn't be allowed to go to her church because she was a lesbian (the woman wasn't). Her proof was because the woman had "masculine hands." Hmmm... I'm sorta open about my BL fandom. My friends all know, and most of them like it, or are at least not totally against it. My mom knows. She said she might be interested in that sort of thing. My dad doesn't know. I don't think he would mind, but I don't want to risk the teasing I would get. Ummm... two of my brothers know, but they haven't really mentioned it. I think they try to block it out of their minds.... 4laugh One of my things is I pick up BL stuff at the bookstore, and don't even realize what it is! I also just recently purchased Kyou Kara Maou! on dvd, and didn't know about the wonderfulness of the BL inside until I watched the first couple of episodes. I think one man inadverdantly (but still doing it) proposing to another kinda qualifies... 3nodding But I don't think I'd be half as interested in BL if it wasn't for the internet. Otherwise, I wouldn't know about most of this stuff! blaugh

I suppose I'm a bit closeted as a yaoi lover. I won't draw it in public, and won't tell anyone unless I'm sure they wouldn't give me "freak" look.
However, I'll totally wear merch. Online, I make no attempt to hide my love of man love.

Secret. I don't care if my friends know. I mean if they find out then they do but its not like I'm gonna stand on a balcony and shout out I love yaoi! I doubt my mom cares she just doesn't want me to waste money but she doesn't say anything about my books or what I read or see on the internet. twisted I got me own computer so it doesn't matter. twisted

Dude, when I was in the hospital, my step-mom went out and bought the twelfth volume of Gravi. for me, which had Shindou in BONDAGE on the cover. She gave it to me, and when I got out, yelled at me asking what the hell it was. But yeah, I've been disowned by my grandmother, too. Hair being Hatsuharu black and white for three years nearly gave her a heart attack, and she wigged even more when she saw that it was just as short as his. They still don't know about the tattoo.

Megaman_X2 secret. Because I'm afraid that my family would think that I am a queer even thought I'm not. I just find it interesting. Yeah, that too. 'OMFG ARE YOU A LESBIAN!?' No, mother, just watching two guys go at it is incredibly adorable to me. And I never got that connection. Because gay guys fascinates me, means I'm a lesbian...?

I would have hated to been able to know her reaction to getting mind peirced. (I was only about 2) My wonderful mom decided to tell her I wanted a tattoo >_> Not like I got it...yet.

It's just the symbol on the flag, minus the crossbones, and it's all over my left shoulder. It's getting hard to hide. I have to wear long sleeves whenever I go over to the grandparent's house, or else I'll get yelled at for 'It's satanic', 'You're too young', blah blah blah.

natsu_no_tegami Just about everybody knows how much I like slash/yaoi... except my family... mainly because they're not really open-minded. My mom pretty much freaked when she had found out that I had rented the book "Boy Meets Boy" from the library... i love that book *sigh* SO FRIGGIN' CUTE!!! All I've let my mom know is that I enjoy reading about two gay guys having a relationship as much as i like reading about a guy and a girl. that they're equal in my eyes. She knows nothing about my love of them getting it on. And SHE DOES NOT HAVE TOO. I make my dad buy me blatantly yaoi manga though, 'cause he's an airhead and doesn't notice. My mom though *shifty eyes* comes up behind me when i read fanfic. Luckily (more like thank jesus) i wasn't reading any lemon-like stuff at the time. She's convinced that I'm an innocent. twisted You all and my friends know the truth though. non of my freinds are into it though... *sad* Oh yeah, and MY grandma's bi. She never talks about it though. I'm too nice to break her illusions of my innocence and beg for yaoi though. My aunt on the other hand... I practically screamed that i wanted yaoi manga for x-mas. xd
