"Beauty and fame fades with time, but love stands strong forever." He nodded his head in agreement to her words. He hoped that she and he both would one day find that kind of love.
He felt a strange feeling as the wind blow against his mane. Something was different, and he wasn't sure if he liked the feeling of it. Shaking it off, he smiled at her and nodded in the direction of the next stream.
"You're not a bother at all, Marina," he assured her, glad to have found some company to pass the day away with. "I'm having a splendid time getting to know you better. I just hope I'm not boring you with all of this love talk." He chuckled, a bit uneasy.
((OMG! Congrats on the breeding slot, Moon! *huggles* I'm so happy for you!!! Marina's gonna be a mommy! >w< ))

"Absolutely!" Marina chimed happily. "Hehe, thats so deep Daray!" she giggled jokingly.
For a second, she thought Daray looked a bit uneasy. When he seemed to shake the feeling off, Marina felt a bit better. What made him nervous?
"Thanks...me too!" She smiled. Marina certainly hoped she could meet more wonderful Soquili like Daray. "Not at all!" she said. "I just hope your not bored with it!"

"Bored talking about the one I love?" He snorted, and almost giggled. "Would you get bored talking about Kale, Marina?"
He paused and pawed the ground gently with his hoof. What was that feeling he kept getting? Something was different, but what?
Up ahead, not too far away, lay the next stream, but again, he saw no sign of a teepee anywhere. "Are there any other markings or surroundings you might remember about your home that could help, Marina?"

"I guess not," she said. "K-kale?!" Marina stammared, her face almost exploding in a deep radish hue. "I! Do! Not! Love! Him!" she barely got out.
Calming down a bit, she noticed once again that Daray felt uneasy. "Is something wrong?" she asked, for she didn't feel anything.
"Well...its just a normal stream that runs through a forest. Depending on which side we approach, we may not see the teepee right away," Marina replied.

He laughed as he watched her cheeks blush a dark red. How cute. She could deny it all she wanted, but it had been obvious when she spoke of Kale that she had affection for the stallion. He shrugged his shoulders. "Whatever you say, Marina."
He smiled. "It's nothing.... I just get weird vibes once in a while.. they don't ever truly mean anything in the end, so don't worry about me." He tossed his mane back and paused for a moment to think about the landscape and where they were.
"Hmmm... so you say it cuts through the forest? We should stick closer to the forest, in that case." He turned, changing their direction by a slight angle, and continued on the path.

Pouting slightly, she said, "Yes! Whatever I say!" and chuckled. "Weird vibes...?" Marina cocked her head to the side, surely confused. "I hope they don't mean anything," she shivered. "Well, theres this sort of grove in the middle of the forest, and a river deposits into the lake there, so I guess it goes through, but stops in the middle..."

He stopped to think about her description for a moment or two, trying to visualize the scenery in his head. He pictured all of the lakes he could recall in his mind and which ones were connected to rivers and streams.
Finally, it clicked in.
"Ohh!! I know what you're talking about now!" He whinnied happily, rearing back a bit in excitement. "I know exactly the place you want to be."
He adjusted the angle of their path a bit more and started trotting again, this time, a bit faster. "We'll get you home in no time, Marina!" He called out proudly.

"Really?!" she exclaimed happily. She was finally going home! "Thank you so much, Daray!" Smiling, she too adjusted her angle and set off to follow the cantaring Daray.
