And Sawao's singing is probably best on Living Field. It doesn't really get too questionable until Good Dreams.

I see this as sctrictly an opinion-based thing. I didn't think there was ANYTHING wrong with his singing on that album, (or any other part of the album for that matter) and New Year's Eve I think his singing was especially good.

Well of course it's an opinion. We can't measure what we like objectively. I'm simply stating that, in terms of vocal performance, Living Field is most impressive.

Listen to Something Like a Romance. Each instrument, including Sawao's voice, is tonally excellent and pure. While I may also enjoy the rough tone he uses on songs like Wonderful Sight and Subhuman, his technical peak was probably somewhere around Living Field.

That's true, his sound was alot smoother, I guess is a good way to put it. I love the way he sings in Daydream Wonder, but I tend to go for the high-energy electrfiying songs more than the nice smooth ones. There are plenty of exceptions to that naturally...I would even say that if I had to pick a favorite it would be Strange Chameleon or Shiroi Natsu.

The end of Shiroi Natsu is chilling. Great song all around.
