Orudo Dominion Daigakku no Rora desu. Norufoku, Bajinya no naka ni Orudo Dominion Daigakku ga arimasu. Natsu-yasumi wa Supuringufirudo, Bajinia ga imasu.

I'm from Old Dominion University (Lit: I'm Old Dominion University's Laura.) Old Dominion is inside Norfolk, Virginia. Durring Summer Break I'm in Springfield Virginia

(Please let me have gotten the particals right! Not to mention the katakana...I always suck at translating the english word to Katakana. Someone PLEASE correct me if I totally messed up.)

the only thing i noticed wrong was instead of "... ga imasu" you need "... ni imasu." the subject of your sentence there would be yourself, and it's implied, so you can just leave it out instead of putting "watashi ga" or something. you used "ni" correctly in the previous sentence, so i'm sure it was just a simple slip up. wink i always used this as a rule of thumb for describing the location of something: *location* ni *subject* ga arimasu/imasu. other than "daigaku" (not "daigakku") you're not too bad. biggrin romanizing/katakana-izing english names of things is sometimes tricky...

Yeah...It was a slip up.
And The romanji is tricky, but I should have caught that small tsu.
Thanks so much for the help. I'm a bit rusty and I'm going into classes this week.

Haha, probably not Taro, that''s a little too generic for me..

Maybe Keichi? I''m not sure. I have the feeling it''d be a lot easier to have a japnese name than a Romanji name in Japan, so I really would put up with anything, except maybe something like "Kuma".
