lets see another interesting character would be gremio.. ^^Yeah! ...I'm sorry, is he from the first one? Because that's the only one I haven't played... sweatdrop
all the reason to love Viktor and Flik even more when you continue onto Suikoden 2.. kind of a nogalstic feeling.. ^^

haha quite strange is that i never got to play III ^^ so we're even ^_~
moroon, was that the guitar one? imagine his moves to be like i-no of gg or dante in DMC3 xd

I read somewhere that Suikoden and Dynasty Warriors are actually connected together! From what I remember... Suikoden is based on a story called The Water Margin, which is a story based on Romance of the Three Kingdoms story, which is what Dynasty Warriors is based on. I think that's how the connection goes...

Must keep this alive...
I got this idea the other day. While in between stages, you're in your castle. There, you can choose who should be in the next battle, buy equipments/clothes for your character, upgrade your weapon, etc. Also, I think at some point, you can choose whichever shop keepers you want, regaurdless of the timeline.

So sort of like the Soul Calibur games? Shweet.
Hey, it'd be cool if you're play through a Hero's scenario, you have the option of unlocking characters (you'd have to fight some of them) and being able to use them. There could even be little scenes when you go to get that character!
Bofu: They're based off of the four Great Chinese Novels, which are The Water Margin, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Journey to the West, and Dream of the Red Chamber.

What about animals you can ride? The only ones in my mind are horses, dragonhorses, dragons, and griffons.
