It was Paul W.S. Anderson who screwed it up so much.
Besides the new one is already R rated so that certainly helps in the potencial for violence and gore. xp

TON of guts blood gore, heck even sex...HORRIBLE MOVIE! Worst movie I have ever seen, and I couldnt beleive they were making a second. It wasnt even scary, it was just plain stupid, wrong, and bad. Half the movie was a porno, the other half was a texas chainsaw massacre rip off. It was the biggest waste of time I have ever gone to see, and Ive wasted my time with some pretty stupid stuff. Just because its rated R, doesnt mean its good.

Yes i know, but for me its just means it won't be 'kid' aimed. I know the last one kinda wasn't but still kids ended up liking it which bothered me.
Just a little something to hang on to in hopes it will prove to be good. Still holding my breath on that.

Heres one I just remembered. When the last predator in AVP was impailed by the queen, he was bleeding and had a huged gaping hole in his gut, and then, when he is laing down dead, his blood and wound is solid, and the blood is now a neon green paste, no run lines from the blood that spattered on the ground nothing.
Also earlier when the one alien stabbed him through the shoulder, once he got on the lift thing with the girl, and there was no blood, or immobility in his arm when he blooded her, or when he fought the queen, even when he yanked the queens chain to push her off the cliff.

Can't recall the scene in the movie at this point to be honest, but in the novelization Grif ripped Scar's shoulder cannon off with his bare hand. And actually chased the sled up the tunnel, even reaching the surface after them. But he still got caught up in the blast coming out immediately upon his exiting it. Though still flawed and in confliction with the older series, the novelization was quite different from the film however... (For example, it was actually alright. stare )

I beleive in he acctually did use his tail to rip into scar's shoulder.
XP My novel, unfortunately, got ripped in half at the spine...so now its two books! XD

Part one and two!
I just bought predator 2 last night, and just now realized how good and awful it is. For one, the predator's extending spear((Is that right?)) made more of a long tube and in AVP they made ist shrink in size. also, the plasma caster was on the Yautja right away, another flaw in AVP. I wonder if that pred was already blooded, because on his trophy wall there was a xenomorph skull. Also, what the heck was he doing with king Willy's blood? I think he was applying it to his crest for color((I am just guessing)), but there is so much that they don't explain.

Well, a yautja has to be blooded before he can legally hunt humans. The three in the AvP movie would have been killed by their own clan for what they did. Hell, before hunts intentionally involving humans can occur a clan's supposed to be blooded-only. Special exceptions did occur, but only during sort of celebrations where many clans came together. And those were MASSIVE hunts with hundreds of hunting yautjas. @_@ (The Shell was completely emptied aside from the pilots in AvP: War.)

I know this isn't a movie goof((though they are connected)) In AVP2 the game, the preds give off no body heat in infared hunting mode! ANyone else notice that? In The movies, when it showed the preds, they were friggin burning up! the infared picks up nothing in AVP2, isn't that wierd?

Prodigis I wouldn't say those are goofs, more or less continuity errors in the series. Fredrick Krueger did you mean series goofs or just technical goofs (e.g. like a camera being visible in a mirror or a stormtrooper hitting his head on a door)? It doesn't really count I guess, but I always thought it was ridiculous how that soldier started shooting at the Predator in the first movie, then Dutch arrived with the others and started joining him, opening fire at the open jungle, shooting grenades and using a good portion of their ammo. And then it's kinda like 'Erm...what were we shooting at?' yea that was stupid note to self do not p*** of Mac or kill his friend (kind of the same thing)
