Gil was slightly surprised as the tiger burst into the room, fully grown.......He acted instinctively, however,...he threw up a palm and the rushing tiger slammed into an invisible wall of light.......the tiger fell dazed, but rose quickly to pace before the wall, seeking a way around........ Gilthana then focused his gaze back upon Ishira,....his moment of lost concentration had weakened the illusion a bit, causing it to appear transparent,.....As he fed more chakra into the technique the illusion solidified again......but this time, he added another surprise...... He began moving his fingers in a rythmic fashion, and suddenly, tendons of light shot from his fingertips......extending forward they bound themselves to Ishira and seeped into her........Gil could now feel her light source full force......the tendons he had attached to her, linked directly to them......giving him near-complete control of her energy........

Ishira felt Gils tendons and laughed. It would end now... She could now feel the link to the real work. Ishira turned, closing her eyes so she could concentrate. With gils power she would be able to sense the rest of the world and would be able to at the least, attack Gil. First she need to get him away from her. She needed to snap the tendons that attached to her and soon. The white circle once again formed under Ishira and light rose up from it. This wasnt the light inside herself, so there wasnt a way Gil would be able to control it, but it cut off the tendons from Ishira. Now she could attack. Ishira quickly found Gils position and the light ball on top of her staff went right to him.
((In my teachings there are many different forms of light, so you can control Ishiras soul light, but not the light she summons from other places))

Gil had not anticipated her ability to summon light from other sources so he was quite shocked when the tendons were severed and the ball of light came flying his way,.......In his shock, he did not react quick enough and the ball smashed into him, sending him slamming into the wall behind him.......He sat dazed for several moments........ in his shock the illusion had been dispelled,......the glyph that had been upon the floor disappeared and his eyes reattained their normal color, losing their marble-like glow....... The room however remained dark, except for the light that emanated fom Ishira's circle and staff.........
Moments later, Gil managed to pick himself up from the floor........ She was defiitely ready, he thought......... He struck out a hand and light once again came into the room, illuminating the partially damaged library........
"I yield,.....you have grown far,...As I would have expected..."

Ishira stood up straight, and let her staff disappear in a burst of light. She opened her eyes slowly and then smiled, happy that it was over.
"You have grown as well... There were times I wasnt sure i could get myself out of certain predicaments." Ishira patted her thigh and Takki went to her. It no longer tried to attack Gil and was rather friendly to him instead. Ishira looked at her student and her smile grew. "The ability that i was using is your first lesson. You need to be able to summon earths light in order to do it. See, as im sure you know, there are many types of light in the world. I would like for you to learn about all of them." Ishira dusted her kimono off and then went to a few of the scrolls. She pulled out two of them and then layed them down on the table. After she was done she moved her hand slightly, jestering for Gil to come over to her.

Gil nodded and smiled back,.......he patted the young tiger behind the ears as he approached the desk.......He tapped his naginata upon the floor and in a small burst of light, it disappeared,........
"My abilities have not grown as far as I would have liked, but with further training, I will reach my goals in due time......."

"Its truely good to hear you still want to learn though you have gone past the extent that your true goals were." Ishira smiled and then looked through the scrolls. After a minute or so she looked at Gil and her sm ile grew. He was being so K ind to Takki and herself, which made it easier for her. She was still a little frightened about being the sensei in the Dojo but his kindness was helping her along. "Gil do you what to know that technique i just use?"

"Really now?" It couldnt be helped. Ishira loved to learn and she would take any opportunity given to her to learn. Wisdom was the basis of life, without it life would be pointless. Or that was at least what Ishira believed. She went to the side of the table and pulled out a wooden seat which looked as if it had been centuries old. Ishira smiled and jestered for Gil to sit down. "You have sparked my interest. Please sit down so we can talk. I too have things to say."

"You are the one who offered so lets here what you have to say first." Ishira never liked being the first one to speak. For some reason she felt like it wasnt proper of her. She took a seat next to Gil and smiled, wondering what he had to say.

((Sorry for being so long,......I entered a Training regiment, and it took a substantial amount of my time and energy,......but it's slowed down a bit, so I should be able to keep up a steady stream of posts))
Gilthana nodded then took a deep breath......
"Well, where should I begin......As you know we all went our separate ways after the closing of the dojo..... There was quite a transition in me, at that time,.....I was still occupied with fully understanding what Lord Tutsumi had taught us,...... I secluded myself from all influence as I struggled with my comprehension.......
It was quite a while, before I even began to understand,.....And with my small understanding a wide horizon of possibilities came into view,.....the range of abilities that could be created with such knowledge was outstanding...... As any normal ninja would do, I experimented, and to say the least, I had pleasing results....."

"Pleasing results? What kind of results are you talking about?" Ishira was a bit curious, wondering what her friend, now student, was speaking of. There were many things that had made Ishira grow over time but she rarely heard what caused the growth of her friend.

Gil took a moment before answering, organizing his thoughts.........Then he turned a serious face to Ishira........
"Perhaps you can recall Lord Tutsumi teaching us about the origin and creation of light,.........This totally confused me, as you may remember,......but after the dojo closed down, I began a research regiment of my own,..........
It took me a while to truly understand it but finally I began to,........and the facts I found were truly remarkable,..........By learning to use light, we are really manipulating the very force of life itself.......For everything, is composed of light,........For example,......."
Gil pulled a blank scroll closer to himself, and allowed his palm to hover over it..............For a moment nothing happened, then suddenly the paper began to disintegrate, and mist of light particles formed just below his palm.........Within seconds, the paper was gone,........All that remained was a ball that had formed from the mist.............
"This is nowhere near the limits of this philosophy,.......When I began to work with this concept, I quickly learned that the only way to completely be in control is to be in tune with every bit of light around you,......."

Ishira nodded and watched as he showed her the interesting example. She had seen it once before, with Tutsumi... He had trained her by himself, and there were many things she had begun to learn.
"Yes. That is true and also without light most things could not live. Everything has light within itself." Ishira turned to gil and then pointed to her chest. The area she touched began to glow and as she moved her hand away from her chest a pure light followed it. "This is the Soul light, its very similar to that light in your hand. Soul light is the light in every living thing within existance. Without Soul Light you would waste away and die. Chakra is part of this Soul Light but a very low form of it. Like Chakra there is a limit on how much Soul Light you can use, but Soul Light should only be used after learning the different forms of light... I am very pleased that you have discovered such a thing, but i will ask you not to use it until you need to. Using too much Soul Light will make you sick, and then kill you..." Ishira sighed and then snapped her fingers, making the light disappear. She looked at Gil seriously, hoping he understood but after a while she smiled, knowing he was bright man. "Tell me more of what you have learned, please?"

Gil smiled back at her,........
"I must admit, that is the limit of my philosophies............However during my training, I have come to advance the strength of my Kekkei Genkai........ The technique I used earlier, was of the lowest form,........other levels will begin to cause much more harmful effects to the mind and eventually the body,........by tapping into the light that controls your thoughts, I can directly influence ones mind, and by doing that your mind will make the illusions quite real..........
My clan's bloodline limit is of a descendant of both the Hyuuga and Uchiha clans,........however, since my clan is comprised of Hikari Ninja, my Kekkei Genkai has been evolved over many generations to deal directly with light itself..........I am sure you are familiar with the abilities of the clans Uchiha and Hyuuga,....Am I correct?"
At that, Gil smiled, awaiting her reply,........
