Buffy stared at the quiet and sullen group eating chicken, then looked at Faith.
"What's up with the newbies?"

Lucie woke up, yawning. Finally they were there. Cleveland, Ohio... Lucie wondered if it was going to be exciting at all, or if it was mostly going to be a bore- like school. She grabbed her stuff and walked inside. She saw Faith and them in the Kitchen. She noted whereabouts they were and went upstairs to look for an empty room. She found one and set her stuff there. She collapsed on the bed, thankful for a real mattress, but then decided to go downstairs to see what the deal was.
"Um- hi?" Lucie said, walking in. Phoenix seemed glowering. She was about to sit down when she saw the food. She smiled at Phoenix, helped herself, and sat down, "So- uh- what's the agenda?"

Faith shrugged, happily eating her chicken.
Don't know. Steph was like that the whole trip, didn't say a single word.
Steph had already finished eating((yes i know... that quickly!
eek ), and quickly cleaned her plate before disappearing back up to her room.
Do we know anything about her family life?
She smirked at Lucie.

Buffy shrugged as well.
"I'm really more concerned with Spike and Illyria... cuz didn't we all just kinda leave them there? I saw Willow sleeping in the livingroom... and Connor is here... which means Angel won't be far behind."
She picked at her chicken, still thinking of the box she had found in Spike's room.

Faith nodded, and tossed her paper plate in the trash, and then sat back down.
"So maybe you should call him? Find out where they are..."

Angel finally entered the house,he was sitting in his car.Thinking what he had left behind in Los Angeles.The hotel and friends,for example.He walked through the house,not knowing the place since it was his first time in Cleveland.He followed the voice,which lead him to the kitchen.
"Hey..."
Angel said simply from the doorway.

Buffy stood up and headed over to Angel, stood on tip-toe,planting a slightly greasy kiss on his cheek.
"Hey, took you long enough!"
She walked over and made up a plate of chicken, biscuits and cornbread for him.

Phoenix began helping Buffy and Robin ( who had come in a few minutes earlier) to clear the dishes and put the leftover food away. She had remained silent about her encounter with that guy, but figured she ought to let Buffy know.
"Listen, earlier tonight... I came across a couple of vamps about to take out some ridiculously trampy blonde Jessica Simpson/ Hilary Duff wanna-be's. I followed them into this alley... well, to make a really long story short, we've got another player."
At Buffy's inquisitive look, Phoenix continued, "I had a helper- who actually took my kill, claimed it as his own, and acted like this town was his. He was freaking rude beyond belief... and it was almost enough to make you forget what he looked like. Which was gorgeous. He reminds me of someone but... ". She shrugged.
"Anyhow, be on the lookout for a blue-eyed, dark-haired, angelic-faced a**-kicking nasty-tempered son-of-a-b***h. Cuz I'm not sure if he's one of the goods, man."
Phoenix put the last cup in the dishwasher and added the soap.

Angel followed Buffy back to the table.As he did,he flashed a smile at Faith then looked on over at Connor."What you talking about,son?"
He sat down and started to chow down.Before he started eating,he leaned over to Buffy and whispered to her.
"Doesn't this make you Connor's stepmom now..."Angel went back to his food with a smile across his face.

Lorne was driving in his mustang convertable with the top down, listening to 30 Seconds to Mars on the radio contently. He hummed with Jared's voice.
"That boy has a bright future ahead of HIM." he said with a smile. He looked down at his clock, realizing how late it was. "Oh...better call Angel. Can't show up unexpectedly and not anticipate a surprised look on HIS face..."
Lorne took his cell phone out of his jacket pocket and speed-dialed Angel's number. "I wonder if Sweetness has learned how to use a cell phone yet..."

Willow walked into the kitchen and smiled at Buffy and Angel all snuggly.
"Hey, now you two... not in front of the kiddies!," she grinned and headed to the fridge.
"Jeez, I was out for -" She then noticed Oz, standing off to the side, near the backdoor.
"Oz... you're back. What happened.... I," she stuttered along, slightly sounding like Tara.
"You're all.... hurt."
She walked over to him and made as if to touch his cheek, where it was scraped and raw looking, and then caught herself. She walked back to the fridge, the open door blocking her face. Willow just stared unseeingly at the contents.
