Wrendraith `Christie O: Is Gaia going to be at Sakura Con, this year? They were there last year, and said they would be prepare bigger stuff for this year because the crowd was much larger than expected. xd heart
We only met mods last year. >_> They were talking about dragging an admin with them.. and maybe the wheel. - We were the first people to see wordbump, too. >DDDDDDD~!
I'm 95% sure I'll BE at the Con. o_o; Unless something DRASTIC happens.
>.>; I might be going...the year after? Still in school this year... D: Going to a billion cons here though. And I'm gunna try to get in some American ones...try...

My tips and advice, since I've been to Anime Expo and have observed Cosplay:
FIRST OFF, if you cosplay really, really, really well of a popular character, or just cosplay someone popular in general, you will constantly be stopped and asked for a photo-opprotunity. The things about them, though, is that if your's is done well enough, more people will take advantage of this photo-op and join in while more are leaving. Overall, it can take minutes and you'll have to be in the same pose for that time. x.x
SECOND, if your person is obscure, be prepared to explain who/what it's from and to talk about it if someone continues to ask about it.
THIRD, don't be afraid that, if you choose a popular character, that it has to be in perfect detail. While they are quite often times nice to stare at and oggle and such, those are wide and few. However, if you do want to achieve perfection, strive for it AND PAY ATTENTION TO DETAIL!
I, personally, recommend an easily recognizable Gaian avatar.

I hope everything turns out if you end up doing that, though! O.O I'll probably just end up living off work permits for a few years... I recently discovered my friend's dad has been doing it, so I might ask him for some advice. Druki: You think you're so tough because you've been to Anime Expo. talk2hand Anime North is THE LARGEST fan run convention in North America and the largest con in Canada (I think, the first part is true). This is my forth year going, third year cosplaying...to that con. It was my first year to CNA and DTAC, and HOMIGOD. TWO HOUR ******** PHOTOSHOOT AT DTAC. I love it. *flips hair*

Shoy ~ Yup. Washingtonian I am.I'm going to suggest Lanzer. He makes it to all of them, I believe, while Vo has chosen to stay behind at some. Uta: This summer will be my fourth, with my fourth year semi-cosplaying Druki. It'll also be the third time I'll be able to chat with Ling and L0cke again. 3nodding And possibly third time I'll see a bunch of my friends there as well.
