Ala was worried for her friend when Aysel let out the yelp that caused Reign to glance up. The chimp girl saw that the moth girl wasn't going to fall and shrugged. Silly kids. Ala glanced at their 'fort' and shrugged. "I guess so..." She was eager to try it as well.
Niki was fighting a smile of her own. "Dust bunnies and mouse traps."

Slowly Aysel shimmied down the tree. Going down was always the part that had her heart beating faster and her hands becoming slippery. "You first" she dared 'La.
Tara straightened up, accepting Niki's unspoken challenge. "Slugs and snails."

Alaqua had climbed down to the 'floor' level and waited for Aysel. She grinned at the challenging tone in the voice of her 'cousin'. Carefully, she stepped onto the stretched blanket, slowly putting weight onto the foot until her entire weight was on the blanket. The koala girl grinned at Aysel. "Piece of-"
"Cake and boogers." Niki tossed back at her friend.
"Ack!" Ala squeaked as the blanket dropped a few inches as she stepped away from the branch and closer to the middle of the 'floor'. Bob wandered a bit closer to the tree, hoping that the silly girl wouldn't fall and hurt herself.

Well if La could do it, so could Aysel. Bravely, or foolishly, the luna moth took a sudden step onto the the blanket, not bothering to slowly shift her weight onto it. For a moment, just long enough for the luna moth's heart to stop beating so strangely.
But Aysel had not done a very good job of tying the knots, as one unraveled swiftly, dumping the girls towards the ground.
Tara broke down and laughed.

"Ahhh!" Ala shrieked as the blanket came undone and the two girls fell through the air to land... right on top of Bob. The brass wyrmling snorted as he now suddenly had two girls on top of him.
Niki cracked up as well, having barely been able to hold it in after her last one.
Reign jumped up and rushed over to the two girls. "Are you okay??" They hadn't fallen too terribly far, but still... a fall like that...

Let it be noted that dragons did not make soft fluffy landing sites. After a moment of staring up at the ripped and waving blanket, Aysel rolled off of Bob, sitting up as she rubbed her elbow. That was going to bruise. "'m 'kay.." Aysel muttered a little disoriented.
Tara paused in her laughter. "Did you hear something?" she said, straining her ears.

Alaqua rolled off of Bob, wincing as her weight went onto her legs. "Ow..." She muttered, limping a couple of steps. "I'm okay, Reign..."
Bob grunted unhappily, ruffling his wings to make sure that everything was okay with his own body. The wyrmling trotted over to where Ala was limping. "Mrrr...?" He sniffed at her right foot, causing Ala to carefully try to pull the leg away.
Niki stopped laughing as well. "Hmm?" She fell silent, trying to listen for whatever Tara had heard. And what Niki heard was-
"MOOOOOOOOOM!" Reign yelled, running towards the house. "Ala's hurt!!" She quickly slid the sliding door open, almost running into her mother, who had jumped up when she'd heard Reign's voice.
"Hurt? How? What happened?!" Niki rushed past her daughter, looking around for her other one. Her eyes fell upon Ala, who was at least standing, so it couldn't be too bad.

"'La!! Are 'ou 'kay? 'm 'orry!!" so upset was the girl that her speech slipped. Tear's started to form as Aysel danced around her cousin in an antsy circle. Fortunatly Reign had already dissapeared towards the house to get their mom's
"'ou 'eed 'o sit?" Aysel asked in distress.
Tara would have taken off after Niki just as fast as the other woman, but the strain of the day was more than quick movement could summon. Walking quickly after Niki, Tara stared at the back room scene.

Ala rolled her eyes at her mother's overreacting. "I'm fine, Mom. I'm fine, Aysel. I'm fine." Wincing, the girl tried to limp her way to the kitchen, but was stopped by her mother.
"Alaqua." Niki frowned down at her daughter. "You're hurt. Let me look at it, okay?" Taking her daughter's silence as approval, Niki got under Ala's right shoulder. "Don't put any weight on it. Let's get you to the patio table and sit you down to look at it..."
Reign hovered behind Tara, hoping that her sister was okay. Maybe she shouldn't have let them build the treehouse out of blankets....

Sniffling, Aysel followed the 'La and her mom to the table, wringing both sets of hands. Cutting across the lawn Tara waited for the two by the chairs. Gesturing for Ala to take a seat the mage took a deep breath, grounding herself. "Let me see," she said quietly. Pulling a thread of power here and there, the woman placed her hands around Ala's ankle.
After a momen she rocked back on her knee's, silent for a while longer as she pulled on a Gaia's power to replenish her own. Standing up, Tara smiled reassuringly at Aysel and Ala. "It's just sprained. Stay off it for a little while and it should be as good as new," Tara explained.
With a happy cry, Aysel hugged her cousin.

Niki was relieved as well. "Thanks, Tara..." She said, weakly.
Ala frowned a bit. "Sprained...? What's that mean?" She looked over at her mother, quizzically.
"It just means that you twisted your ankle too much and it's messed up your ankle a bit. The less you walk on it, the faster your ankle will heal up." Niki explained.
"Oh..." Ala patted her cousin. "I'm just glad you're not hurt, Aysel."

Tara smiled at stood up, patting her friend on the shoulder. "Of course. Why don't we all go inside and play a board game?" Or take a nap, Tara added mentally.
Aysel nodded, scurrying over to her mom for comfort now that she knew 'La was okay. Clinging to her mom, the girl was more than ready to go inside and play quietly for a while. ((I'm good for stopping))

Niki nodded. "That sounds good, Tara. Reign, why don't you go pick out a game while Ala and I make our way to the kitchen table?"
Reign nodded and went inside to hunt down a board game for them to play. Niki helped her other daughter up, though Ala was still a bit sad about having to stay off her feet for a few days. No fun.
