Tiki Jim looked towards the house. "I've never seen one like that before. I'm only seen tiki huts, though." He chuckled to himself. He really needed to get out more often. "It's very nice from the outside. Do you want to just sit out here for a bit? Watch the stars?" He saw her gazeing at the sky.

"Sure," Reira replied, a bit relieved. The pair was already standing by one of her favorite sitting spots: a large tree trunk, just the right size for sitting, that rested in the grass just past the forest's trees. From it, there was a decent view of both the water and the sky. She pulled him with her the couple feet as she talked about her home.
"It was already here when we got here, I guess. It had been abandoned, and I lived here on my own for a short time, but then Laugh-A-Lot just sort of appeared one day, and I was more than happy to have the company. It's a cozy place... A bit small, but nice." She looked out at the stars and spotted the picture she'd picked out earlier. She leaned her head close to Tiki Jim's as she pointed, trying to get the angle right from what his point of view would be. "There's a surf board," she directed, trying to draw in the lines with her pointing finger.

Tiki Jim walked to where she was and sat down. "That's really nice. My dad made our tiki hut when my mom was going to have me. I heard that Mina made the bar and Jazz's hut. Jet lived in one they made as well." he explained with a smile.
"Yeah? That's nice. I think I see it as well. What others do you see?" Tiki Jim looked at the sky and looked for pictures in teh stars.

Reira thought back to everyone she'd met at the bar. "I don't think I've met your dad..." she mused, unsure. She thought she'd remember, so she must not have. "I wouldn't be able to build my own house, I don't think... " After all, Reira wasn't exactly a muscular sort of Pae.
She continued to trace lines between the stars with her finger, trying to find something else. "Hmm..." She mumbled a bit before coming up with another. "That looks kind of like a flower..." she finally decided, pointing to a cluster off in a different direction. It was a bit of a stretch to call it a flower, and she laughed. "Do you see anything?"

"My dad has been busy with my new sister. She's one of those Naiad merpae. She can't leave the water yet. Makes it hard to leave her." Tiki JIm nodded. "Me either."
Tiki Jim nodded. "Yeah, oh humm.." He looked around at the darkening sky. "Well, I guess that might be a coconut glass."

"Oh, like Aoaka..." She remembered having met the Naiad at Hula Bob's. "That sounds like a full time job..."
Reira looked for a moment before seeing the coconut glass. "Oh, I see that!" She craned her neck around to try to find something else. Sure enough, behind her, she saw something: "I see a tree," she stated, matter-of-factly. It wasn't hard; there was a whole forest behind her after all. She giggled, giving away the fact that it wasn't a pattern of stars that she saw.

"Only a lot smaller then him. Pinky is cute though." That's what he called Aquarmarine.
Tiki Jim looked around and then got what she was saying. He chuckled and smiled. "Well, then I see a beautiful angel princess."

Reira had a mental image of a little, pink, baby Naiad. She sounded adorable.
"Oh?" she responded, a smile on her face. She had a pretty good idea of which 'beautiful angel princess' he was talking about, but she could be a bit of a tease sometimes. She looked around, feigning innocence. "Where?"

Tiki Jim put one arm around her and pointed up at the sky. "There see her? She is quite a beach bunny. That's why my Hula Grandaddy calls girls." He nodded. Tiki Jim did mean her, but hey why not make a point to put an arm around her.

Reira made herself comfortable in Tiki Jim's arm and looked up to where he was pointing. "A beach bunny?" She giggled; she liked the term. "...But all I can see is a very handsome prince."

Tiki Jim smiled. "Oh, yes. it's better then dudette." He chuckled and enjoyed being so close to her. She even smelled wonderful. "Oh yeah? Maybe the princess and prince are together. Dancing or something?"

She laughed. 'Dudette' and 'Beach Bunny' both made her smile. "Yeah, but that'd be kind of hard." She looked up at him and smiled proudly. "The prince is here with me." She gave a light laugh. "I bet that princess is jealous..."

Tiki Jim chuckled. "Oh really? Well, then I guess I can tell you that I see the princess right here. I guess they aren't dancing." He chuckled again at that. What a nice night this was.

"Nah, but they're happy." Reira smiled peacefully at Tiki Jim before turning her gaze back to the water. The waves were small and smooth, very tranquil. She could just barely hear them as they met the shore and retreated, creating their own music with an ebbing tempo. Everything just seemed so nice.
She didn't want to ask, but then again, she didn't want Tiki Jim's family not liking her for keeping their son out, either. "...Do you have to go back...?" Her voice was small, and her heart wanted to add on, 'because I don't want you to...' but she knew she ought to at least ask.

Tiki Jim watched as well, but he had a different idea. "Oh, no I don't think so. I come from a long line of party animals!" He chuckled. "I was thinking, want to go for a night surf? I've never done that myself. Or we could just enjoy the view. I know I am." Tiki Jim looked at her with a nod and grin.
