I know im gunna sound like a total party pooper, but Combatically, Balthier doesn't stand out at all. But he does play a very important role in the story and is all around cool.

Mm, to me, the only two who do stand out in combat are Basch and Penelo; I just use my favorites the most. I actually give Balthier axes and it's funny; he still manages to look smooth. He actually uses them well, too. More often than not, I get pretty high damage.

Balthier's pretty good. He levels up fast and give him the right stuff and he's awesome.

He totaly went to be my fave male charter of all time from the first moment he appered in the game whee words can not express how awesome he is blaugh

Balthier is my 5th favorite Final Fantasy just behind, Vincent, Squall, Cloud, and Auron (not in that order)

Yep, Balthier was a brilliant character. I think it's been quite some time since a FF character has actually really impressed me with just script alone.

It all depends on if Balthier is in love with Fran. I wouldn't be in love with a guy who digs a rabid playboy bunny. But otherwise, Balther's o.k. I guess.

YES omg. I LOVE Balthier. I can't decide who is my favorite out of all the games, but Balthier is definitely in the top running.
