Ok so now that I have stated my amazement at the agreement between Hirun and I, I will address the topic at hand.
Um... I don't know who told your dad that you could choke like that, but unless it's a HUGE pill (read bigger than most cashews) then you should be fine tossing it back so long as you swallow once it's back there...
Um... other methods... do you like peanut butter? Get a spoon and a jar of peanut butter, scoop some, put the pill inside, stick it in, lick the glob off the spoon and swallow it whole.
You could try the sticking your tongue out one... that should work...
I honestly never really had a problem with pills, so I dunno...

I wasn't swallowing when it got back there, though. For some reason I can't swallow once it's past a certain part of my tounge. It's odd. >.< It just slid down though, and dad said I was lucky it went down the right tube. sweatdrop Peanut butter sticks to my tounge more than pills do. sweatdrop

I've always been able toswallow pills easily...
xD I'll swallow like four at once, dry, and my parents are all O.O;;;
It makes me lawl. ^_^
Butyeah, my best friend had trouble with that, so her mom had her swallow M&M's covered in chocolate frosting. Eventually, she moved to pills covered in frosting, then she could do it with water. Try that?

I can't take pills either...CAn't swallow them....I say, try chewing them, or breaking them down into food or something..

Get some water or something in your mouth, put the pill in your mouth, and swallow. I can't swallow pills unless I do that. You might want to tip your head back, too. :3

I get the impression that you have a rather dry mouth... try drinking some water for like 5 mins before you have to take the pill, holding it in your mouth a bit to let it soak in, then taking the pill... that might help..
