i have a black shert that says shhhh on the front in white print and on the back it says, No one knows im gay. i think its cute, and i have those rubber braclet thingys in all the colors of the rainbow. and i have a rainbow wrist band that i never where any more.

Vague: It's one thing( though not one I support) to use shortcuts. It's quite another to gibber on like someone who doesn't speak English( or any terran language, for that matter). For the sake of communication, at least make an EFFORT.

I'm not into the whole gay scene thing, so I don't have anything to flaunt my homosexuality.
I am the same...

I don't have any store bought pride gear. Mainly because I am too nervous to buy any. sweatdrop
How ever, one day I was bored a hell, so I decided to make a few friendship bracelets. (the old school way, with embrodary floss) I made like 4 of them that day.
So being the nice gay boi that I am, I made my self a rainbow one, my best gay friend a rainbow one, and my friend a red and yellow one (her favorite colors). It was funny, when I gave her her's she was like, you guys have pride bracelets, now I have my very own asexual bracelet!!!!

whee whee whee

I wanted to learn how to make the friendship bracelets, and I still do, but it seems like everyone that knows just gives me an odd look when I ask. Plus, I lack emroidery floss.

I find personally handmade is better and is more valuable than something that is easily replaced. Last week I managed to drop my rainbow necklace on the way to school and kept hoping no one would pick it up.. Luckily, my block is usually quiet, and no one around here would really like a piece of rainbow jewellery anyway! xp

I much prefer easily replaceable, since I have to do so often! I'm so bad with jewelry, if anyone ever handmade me something, I'd be totally screwed!

Whoops, I missed this. That's true, Vague. I've personally turned to handmd sentimental value, and the fact that I can't find a place that actually sells the jewellery locally. The only things here are the rainbow items that are marketed based on kitch value, like rainbow suspenders, belts and such. If only I could find that second Pride store....

I made my first pilgrimage to PTown this weekend, along with my boyfriend and two of his girlfriends.

I went ******** CRAZY shopping. I bought myself a necklace (silver chain, with rainbow links in the middle), an earring (a rainbow colored globe), and an "I Kiss Boys" sticker that's going on my backpack or something.

When I was in San Fran a couple weeks ago I bought a 3' by 5' rainbow flag, and my boyfriend gave me a little one, and a pride necklace he never wears, because its too obvious (He goes to a catholic school, the poor thing).

Weird question: What PTown would that be? (Sorry if I'm being ignorant... sweatdrop )

P-Town -- gay summer mecca of the Northeast. It's on the tip of Cape Cod in MA. I love P-Town. Haven't been there in years, though... sad

Pink pages?

I get the feeling that people from the city really do not comprehend how rural I mean when I say rural. This is the second time in less than 12 hours I've had the feeling that I'm not being clear enough.

There. Are. Almost. No. Services. For. Gays. Here.

The only group I can think of off the top of my head is and AIDS support network. Which is basically like a mailing list of people who get together once in a while and also do some lobbying.

Think of it like camping. You're roughing it without all the things that would make your normal life more comfortable. xp

We dont have a GLA section here at my school and Im not sure if we have one anywhere close to me. o.o; I wouldnt dare say anything though because my school supports Christianity and actually has preachers come in as 'support guides'.

I have an anklet that's pretty and rainbow-y plus a wristband but I never remember to wear the wristband and you cant see the anklet anyways. o.o I wanna get a necklace but I dont know anywhere within an hour or two of me so...
