Collun It doesn't. But NO church baptizes without water. It's because of examples. We need to try to be like the New Testament church, and they used water and full submersion. They were definitely right Examples? what examples? And what do you mean by the New Testament Church? And, yes, they baptized people with water. But so does my church. My church baptizes, but it doesn't believe that you need water baptism to get to heaven. And, you said that the bible doesn't say. And, I go by what the bible says.

You don't. But God will only baptize you with Spirit if you're baptized with water.

Baptism shows God that we're ready. If we're not baptized, God won't recongnize us as ready.

Of course there are exceptions. Look at Abraham. It's pretty certain he'll go to heaven. He wasn't baptized. The thief- He never believed Jesus. When he did he was about to die. He repented and really meant it. But if we know about baptism, then why wouldn't we do it? Again, Acts 2:38. repent and be baptized you need both of them.

Water baptizm is a public display of the spiritual baptism you recieved. It is a symbol. Like the fishes on the back of cars. It is a symbol. But, just becasue you don't have a fish, does that mean you aren't a Christian? NO!

But one will not go to Hell if he has given his heart to God, but not been baptised.

Because, Jesus was baptized. Catholics do lent because Jesus did. We don't need to Lent, do we? But they do Lent and aren't fully submersed, like Jesus. This contradicts what they teach. Baptism comes from Baptismo meaning "to submerse". Baptism is needed. The Spirit baptizes us through water. Water is a burial, because Christ was buried and rose again. When Christ was buried, he had all the sins of the world upon him. When he rose he was pure again. When we go under, we have all our sins on us, when we raise we're pure. While we're under, the Spirit baptizes us. But we must be buried like Christ.
