I don't know about all of them, but I think it has been in most of them...
Wyrmhero was in a lot of the older ones, at least, Icebrand/Firebrand.

Hehe Cid is a huge part of final fantasy and features in all but one of the games, the same way moogles and chocobos also feature in all of the games. They just are now something which you assume to be in the game storylines the same way that there is also a form or a ship either air, land or sea in each of the games smile

FF7 Cid: Sit down on your chair and drink your goddamed tea! Not a great Highwind, but a great charecter. But yeah, he does ruin the Highwind family a little lot...
please tell me how he is a disgrace to the Highwind name. Is it because he doesn't have armor? I found him being a good combination of the "Cid" factor, and the "highwind" dragoon name. but please, someone tell me how he ruins the name.

Ah, the Shinra bit has an interesting story...
Some people think (I don't remember what the final outcome was; I believe it's confirmed) that VII is the future of X. And so, the company was created by the descendants of X-2's Shinra (who created all the spheres and technology and all).

Cid's great ^^ I was actually surprised to see numerous Cid's when I first started getting into the FF series (which was four years ago... gosh it seems longer than that)

There's no evidence leading to that being true at all.

There's no evidence leading to that being true at all. I do think it's kind of far-fetched, but Yunie's said outright that it's confirmed, and she says she knows people at Squenix, which seems to be true. If I might hazard a guess, it might be in an Ultimania or something too, but I really have no idea; it's just what I've heard.

It's true~ one of the Ultimania's says it (I think it's on of the VII ones)
I know for a fact that I read it in a online translation of an Ultimania (and I think I got the link for it in this guild somewhere...)
