I wrecked so many keyboards by eating in my room. Oddly, it was the exact same way each time. I'd have a bowl of Cheerios, with my headphones in. I'd turn with the headphones in my ear, and the chord would push the bowl over onto my desk. I have so many useless mac keyboards stacked in my room.
And I bought my own computer and started contributing to the intarnets bill early on, so my parents had no say over how much time I got to spend on it. They still got angry though when I got really heavily into IRC, and would miss multiple nights of sleep because of it.

I would, except my mac's desk is a huge oak one my grandmother used to own, and I don't think mortal tools can pierce it.

C454BL4NC4 A lot of people are gettinhg that from parents/family this year. I'm always on skype with people, and my dad wants me to start sitting with them in the living room instead of in my room by myself. Exactly. Every parent thinks their kid is as stupid as those MySpace freaks who are on the news all the time getting killed 'cause they don't know how to shut their trap. scream I used to have a computer in my room, but my parents moved it out. (My parents had an excuse. But that's not the point.) My mom had a reason, but my dad is just like that: he doesn't want to trust me on the internet. He's downloaded more crap than I have, and always blames me. -_-;;

I used to talk about the SG all the time, and my mom knows who Game is. Not the slut part, though. You just let them know what you're doing, they'll respect you a bit more.

That sucks! My parents gave up on me. They keep complaining but they KNOW it won't help because we have 3 computers, including one upstairs. So if they want me off of the one downstairs I just go there.
Secretly buy a laptop? Go to the library?

It they tried to limit it, I'd laugh.
