That's very good! But don't forget, he did leave footprints.
Orion stepped forward, and nodded. Yes young dragon. I am here. What may I do for you? Her red hair was the first thing to notice; going from the shades of strawberry to a raspberry coloring, with the eyes to match. And to her silver hide. The most distinguishing feature about the mare though, was the dragon on her chest; with eyes that seemed to be watching him; as if guarding the one that it was bound to.
You also have to keep in mind that the people you RP with, don't always remember what your horse looks like. You have to remind them, or put it in the 'introdution' so that they know who they're playing with visually.

May I inquire oh majestic one what it is you are doing on the top of my hill? She asked very politely. She glanced at the new stallion that now stood before her. His coloring and design was very intriguing to her. Never before had she seen such a regal creature.
okay how's this?

He inclined his head to her. It is a beautiful hill to admire the star upon. I did not know that it was claimed though. I thought all were owned by the ranch. I will gladly depeart if you wish me to. His gaze rested on her, and he waited to see what the young mare would say. Though, this was a plesant hill to view with.
Very very good. xD I think you're getting the hang of this.

No you are more than welcome to reside on my hill. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Keiko Killiana, leader of this here herd. And you might be? Keiko said giving a formal bow at the knees. She was very interested in getting to know this creature of formidable beauty much more closely.
*purrs at sky* I like feel bad...oh well just grades.

I am Orion; and I have no herd to call my own. The stars are my breathren, and my family. I have found no need for others actually. Though sometimes, having someone to speak to has its own advantages. He watched the young mare, and wondered what had brought her to this place.
Keiko is a herd leader? Do you have at least three unrelated horses that she resides over?

I am pleased to make your acquaintance friend Orion. What brings you to my ranch? Keiko asked respectfully. She was new to this land and was not yet familiar with the term herd to mean more than one other horse. She was current overseer of Rudy and his familiar Shasta and therefore felt that qualified as a herd. At least, where she came from it would.
sorry had to think for a min...came up with a good comeback though, at least I think so.

I thought this ranch belong to many, and not just one. Forgive me. I have been roaming around on my own for a time. I did not like the place I was before. You couldn't see many of my brothers and sisters, so I had to move.

I am happy that you decided to come here. Your brothers and sisters have always brought me great joy every time I gaze upon them. I scarcely was able to see you with such brilliance behind you. Keiko let her mind wander as she looked at him. His coat blended in so well with his current surroundings. Would you mind if I joined you to gaze at the stars tonight? Keiko asked glancing at the area around her.
okay how was that? I'm attempting to possibly flirt but I think I am failing miserably.

He nodded. Yes. I would be happy to share the beauty of my siblings with another. He stepped sideways so that she had a little room beside him for her to stand.

Keiko layed down on her back and looked up at the stars. She was actually looking into his eyes but she would not let him discover that. So have you had many friends? My only friends are very young at heart and do not understand the glory of this world. They only want to play tag and run around getting filthy. I can not comprehend how they can do this. Where I am from colts are brought up to be well behaved and controlled. We do not know how to what's the word...frolick. Keiko glanced towards the other end of the fields where her companions were playing. I have wanted to learn how to play, but they never can find the time to teach me. She sighed turning her gaze back to Orion.
Really long post. Too much on my mind I guess.

No friends reside with me. Though, foals were raised the same way that you explain. I was the same way you said. Though, I did not get to spend much time with anyone that was anywhere near my age. I was orphened at a young age, and no one took me in. That's when the stars became the family that I no longer had.

Keiko sat up and looked at Orion. You are welcome to stay here with me if you so choose. I would be happy to have someone around besides a couple of hatchlings. I would appreciate the company and I can let you sleep under the stars or in the stables with me. That is of course if you feel comfortable doing so. Keiko had become so lonely. She felt that she could talk to Orion more than she could anyone else. No one else could appreciate the beauty of the stars the way he could. She also felt very safe around him.
Okay that's my last post for the night. NIGHT NIGHT Sky.

He bowed his head in acknowledgement to what the young mare said. I will stay then, daughter of Draco. Though, the stars will also be my companions when the time is right to rest. barns have never been a comfort for me, for I am not able to see those that have protected me over the years, and I will not leave them either. He was strangely open with this child of the stars. No mystery was cultivated really between the two; not like what he had done with the others on the ranch. Except for that small foal, Li, whom as he understood, was no longer such a small girl anymore. He was happy that she had grown, and maybe come to terms with her twin. He certainly hoped her mother had.
His gaze returned to the silver specks above. And he also was able to locate the group of stars that he had gotten his name from; the Hunter. he was prominant tonight, even in the heavens where he had to compete to be seen. Tonight, he was the champion amongst them all, for he shown brighter then all the rest. And this brought comfort to his heart. Maybe that was a sign from his brothers and sisters, that he was doing the right thing.
((Don't forget to put your Mare up in the naming thread, so that she can get tagged.))

Keiko lifted her head back towards the night sky. So how long are you planning on staying around? She had been watching him with great interest. She was not aware however that her coat had begun to turn a deep shade of red. She gazed over and just happened to catch a glimpse of herself in the reflection from his eyes, She swiftly hung her head and quietly chastised herself for letting that happen.

Orion shook his head. I do not know. I travel when my feet and heart tell me to. The stars are never still, and neither am I. They always dance, and I dance along with their tune; a song that only I can hear it seems. When they tell me that I need to leave, then I will leave. My brothers and sisters have never led me astray thus far, and I shall continue under their guidance until the day comes that I shall join them finally in the heavens.
