She sent Kathlyn a comforting look. "Your brother is connected to this earth no matter where he is. The spirits of the forests will help. It may take much time, as differentiating the calls of the earth is difficult, but the gift has proven effective in past times."

Kathlyn smiled, "That would be wonderful. I miss my little brother so very much...I don't know how he managed without me or mom or dad...I just hope he's ok." She said closing her eyes and placing a hands gently over her heart almost as though she were praying.

Seishou outstretched her hand and placed it gently on Kathlyn's shoulder. "I am sure that he found way to survive and succeed in his life quest. He is most likely searching for you as well."

Kathlyn smiled up at her, "I certainly hope so...I don't want anything to happen to him..."

Recognizing the need for a new subject, Seishou quickly blurted out, "The water is beautiful is it not? There are not many privileged(sp?) forests that get to see such a beauty as this." She smiled and laughed thinking about what the forest must be thinking.

Kathlyn laughed and smirked at the quick 'artful' subject change. Yet she was thankful for it. "It is very beautiful. I doubt there are many Forests that have such beautiful and mystifying(sp?) bodies of water..."

For the first time since she had arrived, Seishou sat down on the cool ground and relaxed. She remained perfectly still, moving only to beathe. A sudden light pulsated in the ground, making it quiver a bit and then returning to rest. "There it is done. The message has been sent."

Kathlyn blinked and looked over at her; feeling as though she'd missed something, "What message?"

Realizing she had spoken out loud, Seishou quickly tried to cover up her mistake. "Nothing. Time will pass and time will tell. Do you believe that we should be heading back to the tall towers?"

Kathlyn blinked. She knew when someone was trying to change the subject; and when someone was hiding something. However she let this continue as only a nervous feeling in her gut; and shrugged, "I suppose I should probally return to campus." Kathlyn said solemly.

Seishou knew that Kathlyn suspected her. "I will accompany you as I am still in the need of going to the actual school part of this haven." Seishou hopped up to her feet and pranced over to where the tree line began, awaiting Kathlyn.

kathlyn paused and shrugged. "Not sure. I haven't heard or seen anyone around since it broke apart durring that lesson. So who knows..." She walked at an even slow pace; she was keeping up just fine with Seishou but not in any way hurring off out of the forest.

A lake.. Why did it have to be at a lake? Kira hated water. She hated it more than anything. Well, that wasn't entirely true... Still, she hated it quite a lot, and after her little trek through the forest, she was already feeling sleepy. She wanted to turn and head back, but her stubborn nature wouldn't let her. She'd realized that the beings in the laboratory weren't faeries at all. No, the faeries were at this faerie lake place, and she wanted to see one. So, she had ventured deeper into the woods, which she didn't mind so much, and had finally come across the lake. By then it was dark, and she didn't realize how lucky that was for her. The faeries tended to come out at night, but she knew nothing of them and failed to realize this.
She had her camera in hand, ready, but when she reached the lake, for a moment her hatred of water was forgotten. Her eyes grew wide, softly glowing as they reflected the light of the little glowing beings flitting over the water's surface. Oh, what a joy it'd be to fly... "Wh-what? Don't think such stupid things," she scolded herself, as she crept closer to the water's edge, but still froze two or three feet away from it. She bit her lip, then lifted her camera, following one of the creature's path and then snapped a picture. This time, when it came out blurry she tried again. She wanted to get a clear shot. It took four times. She wasn't the best at photography. But, finally, she had an acceptable picture, and she lingered to watch a short while longer before she began her long and boring trip back to her dorm, where she intended to collapse upon her bed and refuse to move.
