Tiamat gave a smirk, and nodded.
"Aye, I'm getting lazier by the moment. Keep your victories, and make the first move. I'm about ready to stretch if you are."
Tiamat was still as he was, relaxed, he'd lost, and had seen it coming, oh well no big deal.

That was his cue to leave, and with it, he stood, bowing slightly "It's been a pleasure men, until next time, I bid both of you, adieu." He then, disappeared,in a quick blur, and a soft wind behind him. He was moving at an amazing rate, nearly the speed of sound by his feet alone.

He nodded and rose from the table, giving a half bow to Tiamat as he began to walk away, "From ten paces then." He flicked his wrist out to the side, a hand identical to his winning hand at the end forming about his fingers. The cards began to dance about his nimble digits as he spoke, "You are excused." Whether he meant the card table or the third man (not knowing he had already left) was unclear as the table and chairs -once Tiamat was out of his of course- seemed to blow away in a flurry of playing cards. Once he was ten paces away he would turn to look back to his opponent, a wicked grin about his lips.

Ugh, Tiamat thought as he came to a stand. Stretching a bit, trying to wake himself up, Tiamat remained where he was. He pushed the chair back a bit, and would wait for his opponent to make a move. Tiamat was twice the loser, and it's only proper for the winner to go first.

((I don't have my cardlist on me so I'll edit this later with the actual cards.))
Argus turned so that his right hand holding the cards was facing away from Tiamat. His arms crossed and when he flung his left hand out towards the man and produced a fireball. In the wake of the fireball two cards could be seen burning away, the Two of Spades and the Two of Clubs. It would streak across the distance and explode in his general area with some nice fireball goodness.

It was an average attack, probably not mean't to be more than such. His reaction was quick and planned, and it was off in a second. Raising his right hand he spoke elven words, not of magic, it was a statement to something. The words were:
"Ku'lam ilhar har'dro."
Responding to his words a wall two feet taller than Tiam, and a foot wider on each side shot up from the ground, it was solid earth and it was Tiamat's shield against the fire.
Then without waiting for afteraffects to end or any of the sort, Tiamat came smashing out of the wall running straight for Argus. At the same moment two hands emerged from the ground under Argus attempting to grasp his ankles and hold him down. Tiamat would aim a simple punch Argus' face for his opening attack.
Simply explained, Tiamat popped the table up as a distraction, once the fire ball hit, he lept, but just before he sent a kunai through the flames and at his opponent. It was sort of tricky but he could do better.

The audience gazed in wonder.Well.One maroon puppil did at least.Assuming Ninig was the only audience member. What did it matter, this was a enjoyable show, and a lack of onlookers wouldn't ruin that.
"wonder if i could make it to the consession stand befor this really heats up..."
A quick glimmer of an idea, and the Demi-God had pulled a cup of popcorn from his jacket apparently.Legs crossed.Eye hole open.

At the same moment two hands emerged from the ground under Argus attempting to grasp his ankles and hold him down. Tiamat would aim a simple punch Argus' face for his opening attack. The man, being of the public relations profession, had a good chance of knowing what the words meant. He had to deal with quite a few races over his years and most likely would have picked up most languages. Though if it was an obscure dialect the translation may not be accurate. When Tiamat came in for the punch to Argus's face the man seemed to slip to one side, the punch sailing past his face. His reaction time was incredible for his age, or for a man of any age for that matter. His left hand danced over his right arm, to cards slipping from his skin, one displaying an arcane rune while the other displayed the Nine of Hearts. As he tried to slip backwards and away from Tiamat (his back facing to Tiamat's right) the cards were shuffled into those in his right hand. His grip upon them was tight enough to turn his knuckles white. [JoR, JoB, JH, 10H, 7C, Shield, 9H]

The attacking Tiamat was never real, it was earth formed and shaped to the likeness of Tiamat, and moved with the aid of a trickl of Tiam's. There were strings attached to Tiamat's fingers, and the other ends were attached to the earth "puppet" if you will, druidic magic was much in play here.
"Nin."
Was Tiamat's only word after the dodge, once the word was finished, the earth made body burst into a blob like form, and threatened to encase Argus in a shell of solid earth, and if it was successful, it would drag him other. It's speed was not god like, but it was formidable.
As for Tiamat, he was standing on the wall that had blocked he fire for him, controlling the blob to do what he wanted.

The blob would envelope the old man and for a moment it would seem that all was lost for the elderly gentleman. However, once it tried to pull Argus in one direction or another the puppetmaster would find the strings cut. A brilliant shield would be swarming around the man as the earth blob fell away, crumbling to nothing. It would seem that any magical effects coming in contact with him were being extinguished. With only two cards left in hand, a Joker and a Six of Diamaonds, he began advancing upon the wall of earth, a look of youthful vigor in his eyes.

"Uk mal saph natha youth, quin uk loren elderly."
Now even Tiamat's regular speech was coming out in elven. Maybe his druidic art wouldn't be the winning choice here, next would be the shinobi arts, that's all he's got. Of course Tiamat was starting to wonder if he could beat a man who fights like this, thankful he did not meet the man in his youthful era.
"Crud, nindol mii'n Usstan inbal ulu mumbaro qee ichl, vel'bol natha dregzt."
