That stinks as a friend to borrow theirs. Of course if i knew you I would allow you to use mine...but i don't so I'm not going to ship my baby offto some distant place without knowing if it would ever come back....

Doesn't your school have a camera you can borrow for an "assignment"?
I always bear in mind that my college magazine's camera is a lot better than mine.

Not gonna lie: I'm a little frightened. Incidentally, the guy who wrote over 2,000 pages on Smallville is Neal Bailey of Superman Homepage. I'm guessing you can read most of what he's written there. You think he has the right to call himself a BNF now?
