Quinn sighed rather fangirl like in Vash's general direction and fanned her face with her hand, trying to subdue her flush. Maybe inviting Vash hadn't been her best idea, but she knew he was well-suited to the job... and so pretty...
Ripped from her revelrie by the impish storyteller, Quinn fished around in her head, trying to find what she had been asked, "Um, two N's. And this is Kan-a-shi-mii, tow I's at the end," Quinn said slowly, pushing Kan forward and emphasizing all the syllables in her name. "K-dogg, two G's is that red-head over there and Lady Ourania is the lovely silver haired girl on her way over now. And that," Quinn said, pointing to Vash, her flush deepening, "Is Vashtya. Got it?"

His eyes still twinkling, Vash followed K-Dogg in the general direction of the group. As if to remind him to not be too flirtatious, Shakti sent a small pulse of electricity arcing into his forearm, prompting a slight narrowing of his eyes. Although his friendly smile never left his face, the half-elf fell silent, waiting to hear more on what sort've...task they'd been assigned.

Quinn gestured her friends to gather round, "I''ll tell you what I know, which isn't much and then you can get on with the introductions if any are needed.
Crystal Guardian sent me a letter, telling me to gather five worthy adventurers and meet her in Barton Town. I don't know what we have been summoned to do, but I've brought equipment for several contingencies. I have left my luggage in Ian's store and Fortuitous, my Ninau, Therin, my Aziraphale, and Keene and Keir, my Mihtar are stabled in back, in case we need pack animals. If not, Ian promised he would see them safely back to my residence.
I guess all that's left is to mingle and wait for Crystal Guardian. Sorry I cant be more informative..."
Quinn shrugged and looked at her companions, "Oh, if you have any questions, please ask. I'll answer as best as I can."

Ourania raised an eyebrow at Vashtya in greeting, noting the fact that his eyes had narrowed and Fiore had looked at Shakti and released small peals of laughter. She could only guess as to what had occurred, but it would have been an educated guess nonetheless.
She listened to Quinn as the female had been the one to send her the message earlier that same day. She passed Fiore a grape to snack on, and gave Basape small slivers of jerky. The summoner wasn't entirely sure that the two needed to eat, but since they appeared to enjoy it so much, she wasn't against giving it to them.
"Crystal Guardian is coming herself?" Ourania asked a bit incredulously. She couldn't imagine the spectre would come out of the Temple at all, much less in full sunshine. Perhaps she was being silly... the Guardian wasn't a vampire after all, but she doubted seriously that she would leave the Crystal for anything other than a most extreme measure, and courting to the needs of six adventurers did not seem as such.
((... *Contemplates this for a full five seconds before jumping into Vashu's arms* You're lucky I'm such an understanding wife...))

Quinn leaned back against the store front of Ian's shop and waited. She had done what was asked of her, now the rest was up the the Guardian.
Instead of worrying, she sucked on her lolly and stared demurely at Vash.

Taking a seat on Ian's front stoop, Vash winked at Quinny before turning his attention to their surroundings--again, he had to wonder how long it would be before the crystal guardian saw fit to let them know what exactly their mission would entail.

Ourania was sorting through her belongings to make more room, resisting the urge to roll her eyes at Vash and Quinn while she did so. They were like highschoolers, and she had loathed highschool.
She found a firstaid kit and frowned, lifting it up and turning it in her hands, trying to remember when she had placed it in there. The summoner shrugged and put it down, thinking she would ask Na'ir about it later. How long would this take? It was obviously a journey of some sort, otherwise the Guardian would not have asked for adventurers. Did it have something to do with the Crystal? The thought stopped her cold. Quinn had said that the Crystal Guardian was going to give them directions but that would have involved either sending out a minion or coming herself. She had doubted the latter severely until just now. The Guardian's job was to protect the Crystal and all that such a chore entailed, but if she was coming here, did that mean that something had gone so wrong with the Crystal, she could no longer properly care for it?
She shook the thought off, certain that Fiore would have sensed the problem and told her so. The Elysian was lightheartedly playing with Basape at the moment, throwing a small stick for him to catch in midair and bring back to her. She was a serious little thing, it was rare for her to be so playful and giggly.
Perhaps it's just getting out of the house for the first time in days. Ourania thought guiltily. She hadn't gone out much, only to the Temple and back without a stop in between, leisure time like this was a pleasant event indeed.
Ourania realized she was folding something small and looked at it, flushing in horror when she realized it was a pair of rather tiny undergarments. She stuffed it quickly into the bottom of the case, hoping no one had caught her with her panties showing.

((I don't have the time to read through all the last replies, I'm very sorry =@.@= I just have the time to post a reply and stuff. So just picture I said Hi to everyone already xD; Yet again I'm sorry *bows*))
Kana shrugged her curiosity off. Well of course they could have taken on this quest only the two of them. But that reminded her very few of her friends knew her past, and her somewhat 'skills'. And even though she flashed small smiles here and there, she had always been pretty quiet. No one would ever really see her like an energetic person(picture Paine from FFX-2).
The young woman sighed and looked around, putting her hands into her pockets once more. What was there left to do now? Wait?! AH! Wait. How lovely. Please someone make it quick... She thought to herself. She paced around slowly, her overly large black pants resting on her hips and making little noises to each of her steps. Not able to think of anything else to do, she went to lean against the wall of Ian's shop, near where Vash was already sitting. Her wings twitched as she lightly pressed them against the brick wall. Kana looked down for a moment before closing her eyes, waiting for the Crystal Guardian to come and annouce them what their mission would be.

Strangely enough the crystal Guardian did not appear as anticipated, rather the group seemed to have been left within the small town with very little indication as to which direction they were supposed to be heading towards - not a pleasant situation to be in on many occasions but at least they were on neutral territory and were familiar with the grounds.
Still, as time progressed those wandering the streets began to return home for their meals (casting strange look towards the group as they did so) it became apparent that the Guardian simply was not going to show up. Perhaps it had been a joke - but then again since when did the Guardian joke? It was certainly a strange dilemma to be in for what if they were to leave and miss something.
...Yes, something so very small and lodged beneath a bush where only the smallest of hands could reach. Something so small that many would pass by it without realising it - yes, it was none other than a letter and one that appeared to have been misplaced!

Quinn smiled invitingly at Vash after his little wink. The scamp always hinted, but never more than that. Oh well, at least she had fun with him. Surveying her team, she absentmindedly wondered when the Guardian would show up. It was getting late and they were getting stares.
Giggling to herself, she skipped over to Ourania, "Pink lace, huh? I never would have thought it of you." Smiling wolfishly, she twirled a fresh lolly in the air by her face.

Ourania flushed molten. "Quinn..." she said warningly, stopping suddenly and gasping in faint surprise when she saw Basape jump up onto the older woman's arm and catch the piece of candy in midair with his teeth. He landed lightly as a cat and swiftly rushed off under the nearest bush, cackling in a very Moomba-isque manner.
"Oh..." Ourania held back a slightly giggle. "Basape, come back here..." she looked under the foliage, frowning slightly when she spotted something odd. "Quinn, guys, check this out." she instructed, pulling away so that the others could see.
