And I sympathize with the conficts the past can cause in a relationship. My fiance had sex before we got together and it still bothers me a hell of a lot too. Still not really sure how to deal with it. Sorry I know that doesn't help much but I do sort of understand how you feel.

Ah, these Introduction things....*rubs hands together*...now lets see:
I am AraTeran, 20, and female as indicated by my avvie (yes I know some people's avvies do not reflect their gender, but mine does). I live in California where it is summer most of the year except when it floods, and sometimes the hippies scare me. I go to college and major in Environmental Biology and Management and minor in Entomology. I have a part time job taking care of exotic plants. I enjoy D&D and a bunch of other crap that I am too lazy to list at the moment.
1) Abortion.: Pro-choice in general.
2) Teen sex.: Can't stop it, all you can do is try to make sure it is done as safely as possible I guess.
3) Teen pregnancy.: It tends to be a side effect of not having safe sex.
4) Gay marriage.: Why shouldn't gay people be married? I see nothing wrong. Oh yeah, and the landslide arguement about how "if we allow gay marriage we have to allow people to marry kids/cars/etc." is dumb, because cars can't consent, nor can children, yadda yadda. And besides, I could turn around and say, "OMG we let straight people marry?! What other horrible types of marriage may that lead too???
5) Sexual preference.: Mine? Straight.
6) Suicide.: Thought about it; never tried it.
7) Self-harm.: I self-harm but I don't cut. That is all I shall say.
9) Love.: When I create my guy-making machine there will be much love...er....I mean, no I am not in love or anything. I guess it is possible though.
10) Drugs and Alcohol.: Smoke makes me feel ill, don't do illegal drugs, and yes I drink. I think they should be legal though. Making them illegal doesn't mean a thing, I mean, I could probably get access to almost any drug pretty easily if I chose to do so.
11) Religion.: I have been to church a few times with a friend, but my beliefs don't really fall under a certain catergory. Maybe "spiritual but not religious"?

I've had sex before me and her got together. But with only one woman, being my ex-fiance.
She's (Val) .... well...she used to be a huge partier and big into drugs so...she's had quite a few more partners and experiances than I've had. That's rough to deal with as well. But I just have to keep telling myself that we didn't know eachother then. So.... she didn't do anything to me. If I have a problem with it, it's my problem not her's. So I try to keep it all to myself the best I can. She isn't like that anymore. Hasn't been for even years before I met her. So I try to focus on the fact that she's with me now and she's clean. And who she is today instead of who she was.
And as much as I hate to say it: I'm thankful for her experiances at the same time. Because as negative or as hard to deal with as they may be for me, they've made her the amazing person she is today. And I wouldn't want to really truthfully trade that for anything.

Hey... I'm gonna be short and sweet with mah answers. ^_^ Nice to meet you all by the way.
1) Abortion. Pro-choice.
2) Teen sex. 16+ is okay I suppose.
3) Teen pregnancy. Must admit I'm a little prejudice toward chicks that get knocked-up in their teens. But I wouldn't say anything bad to them.
4) Gay marriage. Pro.
5) Sexual preference. I'm bi. Have a beautiful, sweet, wonderful girlfriend whom I adore.
6) Suicide. Anti. Though I've been close before so I understand what it's like to feel like there's nothing left to live for.
7) Self-harm. Used to self harm, quite a bit of wisdom on this topic actually.
9) Love. Hmm... dunno.
10) Drugs and Alcohol. Drugs = bad. Alcohol = yummy.
11) Religion. Athiest.

Hello I am L33tB4K4 and I am a blunt person. I am kind but don't show it to well. 20 years old and harden to the world. I come off as harsh to many but my intentions are good. I have a military mind set. What I mean by this is do what needs to be done and don't b***h about it. a straight talker. My interests are Avaition, anime, VGs, and trying to finish the hell that is college. I am also ADHD and because of that my views on and about the world are Black and White. I will let you know if what you are doing pisses me off or not.
my favorite quote is "talk my advice if you want but don't b***h to me about the out come of you situation, because it ain't my problem, I have my own issues!"
this was from a friends Dad who has since passed on. He had a view of you better take my advice since I took the time away from my problems to help you with yours
But there are a few things that people want me to answer so here I go:
1) Abortion.- Dumbass you did it have the kid, rape and incest get rid of it
2) Teen sex.- No stance, If you are able to handle a kid then you can have sex
3) Teen pregnancy.- see above
4) Gay marriage.- I don't really care, there are more important issues today like war
5) Sexual preference.-straight
6) Suicide.-you are a weak coward for killing yourself, find away to over come and you will be a much stronger person in the end
7) Self-harm.- STOP wasting my tax dollar! idiots who harm themselves are the worst, yes there are some who are seriously addicted to harming themselves but most do it for attention
9) Love.-Love is something I swore off, I walk through life alone. the weight of success and failure rest solely one my shoulders and no one else. I like it that way
10) Drugs and Alcohol.- An escape from reality is nice, but find a way that doesn't cost you ungodly amounts of money and health. Meditation is great. trust me
11) Religion. -hey whatever floats your boat, really I could care less. Nothing and no one has made me believe that there is a higher power at work. YET!
I told you I was straight foward and blunt. but I also think that the IDEA OF COMMON SENSE HAS BEEN LOST FOR TO LONG IN TODAY'S CULTURES AND NEEDS TO BE REDISCOVERED AND QUICKLY!

Hello, I am Mavole.
I am turning 20 in November, though I feel as if life has already passed me by.. U_U [Life is quicker than I thought!]
Interests are watching Legend while drawing really late at night. ^_^ I have a boyfriend, we do have on and off issues, but thanks to LI and friends/family, I have been able to get through everything he [and everyone else] throws at me.
I guess, onto Where I stand on:
1) Abortion. Killing even an unborn human seems a bit much, but personally, I dont think Im healthy enough to have a baby or raise it well, so I am a bit indifferent.
2) Teen sex. Inevitably Leads to heartache usually, but well, I lost it at 19, so...
3) Teen pregnancy. Not my place to judge, but I would advise against it, and support those who need advise.
4) Gay marriage. Very deep issue; I dont know.
5) Sexual preference. Men; not boys.
6) Suicide. Have thought about it on and off throughout life, not a wise choice, because it only hurts others in the long run... Its like your taking other people with you against their will... However, Ill support those in need.
7) Self-harm. Ive done such things before, and Im sorry to say that its just as effective in hurting others as suicide. If anyone wishes to talk or discuss it, you can PM me and we can talk.. U_U
9) Love. Like a thorned rose with both sunny and dark sides. It can blind you, make you a slave, ruin or build up your life, it really depends on who you are in love with, what you adopt from them, what your preferences are/theirs as well... and overall Compatibility.
10) Drugs and Alcohol. Never agreed; stopped smoking pot because it did nothing to me or anyone around me who use it. Drinking isnt a solution, it isnt fun, and its rediculous to do so to a point. Buzzes are fine; I still dont agree with it.. Its caused me nothing but grief over the years.. all drug/alcoholism has...
11) Religion. I was raised a christian, and I still listen to the christian radio when I feel down.. Its like a comfort that I enjoy being around, but I havent attended church in years... I wont supress or tell you your wrong for any beliefs you may have, but I will tell you you are wrong if you try to supress mine or anyone else's.
Other: I love LI thread, its prolly where I spend all my time on Gaia. I was suprised that there was a LI hangout Guild, and I am very grateful to be associated with the very open-minded people of Gaia, as well as the curious or diversely-opinioned.
I deeply respect Butterballs, she has posted responses to LI threads that have blown me away.. sometimes she even takes the words right out of my mouth.

Hey all, my name is KaiMinoto. Basically my friends used to call me Kai and i just stuck Minoto to it and it worked. xd Anywho. here are my answers to the things i am supposed to reply to:
1) Abortion
I personally think it is wrong. You are killing a human life. It is just a legal form of murder.
2) Teen Sex
I think it is wrong for teens to be having sex but if it is what they want to do then that is what they do. No one is going to stop them.
3) Teen Pregnancy
It is the consequence for having sex as a teen.
4) Gay Marrage
If they like each other that much, then let them.
5) Sexual Preference
N/A
6) Suicide
Wow, didn't expect this topic to araise, but what can I say it is a Life Issue. I myself have personal experience witht his subject. I came close but then backed off and have been changed since. What i think is that it is a cheap and fast way to get all the troubles out of your life. Ppl think that after they commit suicide all the troubles go away, they don't, they just get 10x's worse.

Well hello then. i just joined this guild a day or two ago, so I thought I should post up.
For those of you who don't know me, I am the owner of the Gaian Parents Guild. I'm 24 (gasp! I'm all old), and I am a married mother of two. I also like to art.
So, how do I feel about.....
1) Abortion-Pro-choice, but not a fan of it. I wouldn't have an abortion myself and I'm not a fan of those who would use it as their only form of birth control, but I'd rather see some girl get one done at a doctor's office than in her bathroom with a clothes hanger.
2) Teen sex-I think it's stupid if you're not prepared to accept what may happen (STDs, pregnancies, and the emotional rammifications). But we're all human. I am guilty of having done this when I was a teen.
3) Teen pregnancy-I certainly don't condone it, but I'm not gonna judge someone or get all holier than thou on them. I got pregnant the first time at 19. I was married, but it was still difficult.
4) Gay marriage-A gay marriage is a happy marriage. If homosexuals were given the right to have a legal marriage, I'd be happy for them!
5) Sexual preference-Hooray for differences in people!
6) Suicide-Not a fan of it, but it happens
7) Self-harm-Not a fan of it, but it happens
9) Love-I enjoy love
10) Drugs and Alcohol-Do 'em responsibly and keep 'em away from me and we're cool. No drinking and driving!
11) Religion-Not a fan of it, but it happens. Seriously though, I'm one of those crazy pagan people, so most organized religeons don't appeal to me. Though I am an avid hobbiest theologian. I enjoy reading different religeous texts and studying their histories.... just not worshipping them.
