Marcus sniffed at the air, taking in the scent of each of the people around. One smelt like a normal human, one was a vampire...he guessed that was the guy in front...Neither of these really concerned him. His lip did move into a small smirk smile though as he smelt the third scent...one he hadn't smelled in quite a while...He looked over at the werewolf, eyes looking him up and down, evaluating him.

Marcus shook his head, and turned to look back at the guy that looked like he was in charge, waiting to speak with him to find out exactly what was going on around here.

Marcus smirked as the one that smelled like a normal mortal stepped forward to speak. He walked forward as he listens to her, softly saying, "What exactly is it that you do, my darling?" The smirk on the monsters face seemed to indicate that he didn't believe much was coming from her.

She squeaked as she was picked up and brought inside by some force of a twig thing. She was caught by total and complete surprise, somehow forgetting her use of attack/defense against such things as this. 'Magic?! They weren't kidding!' she thought as she was dropped onto the floor in front of the people she was spying on, but there was one more added into the group. 'Ah ha! Another suspect!' She wished she could write this in her journal, but it wasn't like she could just whip it out in front of her suspects. She quickly stood up. "Hey! What was the big deal! You can't just randomly pick someone up when they have their guard down, that isn't how it works." She would save her true powers for when she really needed them. For now, she would enjoy some playful banter. If the guy looking like he was in charge wasn't going to say anything to retaliate, then she would take advantage of the situation, but she knew she had to be careful; these beings didn't look human like she was, even though she, herself, held a power. In addition, it didn't look like any of them were going to stand up with her; she was alone as the one who was going to solve the mystery of the murders, and attempt to stop any from happening again. She wished that someone else out there would help her fight against these beings, but she doubted it.

Marcus smirked at the girl that arrived in the room, grinning at Ruby's magic and nodded his head a bit, "Nicely done, my dear." He then turned and looked at the other female, the monster giving a small grin as he looked her over, then softly says, "Oh, and exactly what am I suspected of doing? Honestly, I was just out for a nice stroll. Perhaps you would like to go on one with me..." He gave a laugh, though the look on his face was very predatory...

The footsteps had approached quickly, not taken pause and now what appeared to be a cocky young cat boy was standing against the wall. He wasn't certain what to make of it, aside from the fact that he reminded him slightly of Shawn, except Shawn was better than this kid. The thought brought a growl to his throat. Obviously, there wasn't anything this kid could really do to maim him, but it wouldn't be a pleasant thing if he actually planned on making use of the sword he so brazenly displayed. "We're all looking for something, what do you want?" Jed asked, slight irritation in his voice.

The red cat thing certainly was more annoying than he'd originally entertained him to be. Sharp tongue indeed. Jed smirked as the boy spoke, he'd watch what he said when it was pertinent to do so. "Wandering through for the nightly run of drama, eh?" he asked, knowing full well that was what had been stated. There wasn't really a conflict here, merely a topic of suggested trade in skills. The cat disappeared, but it wasn't a trick Jed hadn't seen. Inhaling deeply, he smirked and looked up. "Surely you're not trying to hide?" he said, a taunting little quirk in his voice. "Or are you running from my sharp tongue?"

*he knoks an arrow into a longbow "want to test my pacient do you!? THEN DIE" he let arrow go and it seemed to multiply until there were 100 arrows or more heading toward the provoker
