Taizen continued working on his frozen arm, too olong in this frozen state, and his arm wuold have gained frost-bite, however, he was a waterbender, and waterbender's were capable of freezing they're bodies for an extended number of time without consequence, however, it was becoming more and more difficult to stack the ice on his hand, as the flames gre wbrighter, growed stronger, and circled on him closer.
Xio was a hazy firgue behind the roaring of flames, however, he could see the hazy figure moving, two shadows... meeting... a blue spark became known amongst the bright orange flames of his prison. Even if he had not known that this firebender could create lightning, he should have expected as much, the fire was surrounding him closely, he couldn't move... Lightning! Oh how he despised the strength of it, it would break through a shield of water, He planned on electrocuting him, the equivalent to shooting fish in a barrel...!
One last chance, it had to be quick, otherwise he'd be burned beyond any burn he could imagine!(Sp?) his left hand, he willed it to move in the tiny confines of the flames, it burned! It hurt his arm! His arm could feel! Even if it felt pain, he would grasp this pain as a means to move.
With his right hand, he 'punched' at the figure of xio, along as the incredible blue light that had become apparent, the sound of words spoken by Xoi, but the words didn't matter. The ice on his arm shot out like a missile, his left handmoved up in a slash, and his legs made to move, the water in his flask flew out as the ice exploded above his head, absorbing the impact of the lightning, and showering down around him in hundreds of small chunks. he was walking in the fire, his feet were burning! the water, where was it? He had aimed it at the figure of Xio, if he had succeded in making the water attach itself to Xio, he could freeze it... He could...
He sucked in a gasp as the flames began to crawl up his clothes, he fell to the floor in front of Xio, the flames all over his lowerbody, he looked up at Xio, his vision was blurry, and he couldn't see. He held his numb left hand out anyway,he could see Xio's boots, he had lost... Hadn't he...? His left hand clenched into a fist, wherever the water had landed, it had froze. Wherever it froze, it seemed that it had attempted to make a collar of ice, jagged points inside, Taizen had been aiming at Xio's neck, he had not anticipated that he would lose his power to move by attempting to cross his flame prison, more so he had not assumed that he would become unconscious after that, his plan of demanding Xio's surrender, before he made the ice crush his neck, must have failed.
((Fun fight... T.T You totally pwned me XD ))

arrow Tournament Arena
Xio swept his left blade across at the falling water and ice, turning it aside with a quick flare of fire. Unlike the greatest majority of firebenders, who literally burnt themselves out when using techniques as he did, quickly and so versatile, his effeciency allowed him to go far longer before feeling fatigue or needing to slow down... akin to an earthbender in likeness of stamina.
Feeling Taizen grasp onto the armor covering his boots, Xio sheathed his right sword and stared down at his opponent with cooling, dispassionate eyes. "You are defeated. Stay down and live." With his right hand, Xio made a dismissive motion... snuffing the flames covering Taizen instantly. "Live and recover... be free." Left blade found its sheath as Xio quelled the remaining flames in the arena and lifted his right gauntleted fist into the air in victory.
"Balance."
It was the only word he spoke, mysterious in his deep tenor.

'A thunderous roar of applause speared down from around the arena. Each spectator was amazed by the vitality, and the power, of the benders in front of them. They definitely received their money's worth.
... The clapping ensued for the next ten minutes as the fallen warrior was picked up and while Xio made his exit.'
