hmm... that is a tough question
i really like the series Dragonball but i like the manga waaaay better because i have only seen the extremely edited version of dragonball. its still good but not as good as it could have been
i really love the series DBZ and i wish it wasn't edited as much as it is, but i can't change that.. the manga is pretty good but not as good as DB
DBGT is a really good series but its not my fave...
i guess its a tie between dbz and db... dbz is a better series, db is a better manga

I actually liked DBGT. Super 17 was a pretty good storyline. I enjoyed seeing when hell collided with Earth and all the villains came bak. It was something new and it worked for me.

It wasn't new. In DBZ movie 12 the dead also came back to life, including Freezer for example. Did they fight everyone and cause havoc? Did they include the DB villains such as sgt. Metallic? I thought that this one was better.

DBZ. DB was alright. more funny than anything. and GT...well, no real plot or anything. and it doesnt have as much of the classic fighting that you see in DBZ. DBZ has it all.

I like DBZ better than the others because it ended just as great as it began. I loved the action, and the characters such as Vegeta and Mirai Trunks making their appearance in the show. And the more sagas it had, the better it became. And the best saga, of course, was Kid Buu Saga. It's one of my fav ones.
DB began very nice and all. The action was just as good, but maybe it I saw it first before DBZ, I would've understood it better than when I first saw DBZ, and stopped wondering why Krillin didn't have a nose after the first few episodes. sweatdrop Plus, after the last tournament, it ended kinda sloppy.
As for DBGT.. Well, It's like the fact that the story wasn't all that good, so they had to make the fact that Goku, Vegeta having their upgrade in power, along with a new generation (Pan and Marron being older) and all the old villains' comeback, and new villains had to make up for its greatness.

DB- This one is the funniest to me but not the best fighter one.
DBZ-The best one they did, even though the fights sometimes took longer than need be.
DBGT- If the story line was better in the beginning this one would have been the best because the fights is not as long as DBZ .

DBZ has waaay more action, a better storyline, and the animation is great. They don't use the cheap lazy trick of freezing a frame and having a voice actor voice over to show he's thinking. I hate that.
