Zarkis raised his arms, getting ready for the snow to hit. When the snow didn't come, he felt surprised for a moment as he stood, rooted to the ground in a 'I'm blocking a snowball' pose. What made him even more surprised, was the laughter that followed.
"What...?" Zarkis muttered, blinking as he removed his arms. He giggled at what he saw, putting both hands across his mouth. He knew it was probably rude, but he couldn't help it. The sight was funny, there was no denying it.
"Sor... Sorry..." Zarkis giggled again, failing horribly to speak normally.
Alucard didn't know what all the laughing was about. He didn't find the falling funny, or maybe he just wasn't amused by that sort of thing. Either way, the infant sat in the older child's arm, staring at everyone else with a sort of confused look on his face.

Morgan gave a mock-suffering sigh, eyes twinkling as she climbed to her feet again. "Eh, I've done dumber things." She grinned at Zarkis, making Marian gape in surprise. Her sister, Morganna le Fey Traverse, admitting she'd done something stupid? Not just now, but on other occasions? This boy must be a good influence. The blonde grinned, her smile growing as she kindly ruffled Alucard's bangs. "Don't worry 'bout it, hon." Her voice was gentle, seeing the infant's confused expression. "It's a big kid thing. Some people just think it's funny."
"It IS." Alexander giggled, trotting over to Zarkis and grinning up at him. "You got Morgan good." His golden eyes sparkled.
"Not like it's hard." Arthur piped up, then blinked, as though he'd surprised himself. Morgan raised an eyebrow, glancing over at him. "Arthur?"
"Yeah - " the younger boy turned back to his big sister, only to be nailed straight in the forehead with her forgotten snowball. "AH!"
"Gotcha!" With a carol of laughter, Morgan grabbed Zarkis' hand and tugged him out of the way, dodging handfuls of snow being flung by retaliating little sisters. "Run, Zark!"
"Hey, no fair! Baby in the battle zone!" Marian yelped, trying to shield Alucard as best she could from the whizzing missiles. One wooshed past her head, missing by inches; a second scraped her nose. "Yahhh!"

Alucard gave a 'Oh' a a reply. However, when the snowball war started, he perked up again. This was what he called funny and interesting! Feeling high on snowballs, he started cheering loudly as his 'comrades' started attacking the older female and his brother.
Well, his 'snowballing' skills were still not up to standard, so cheering was the only thing he could do now.
Zarkis ran, laughing as he shielded himself from the snowballs with raised arms, "No fair! It's many against two!"

"Three!" Alexander piped up, running alongside the older boy with a wild grin. Giving a happy yell, he slid behind a drift, giggling as Morgan dragged Zarkis into the same cover. "We can take 'em!" She grinned, scooping up snow for a return attack. The missile snapped past Motoko's ponytail, and she squealed in delight, flinging another snowball that missed by several feet. Arthur's attack, on the other hand, just barely missed Morgan's face; he cheered and scrambled for another snowball, snagging one from the pile growing at Valentine's feet.
Marian rolled her eyes and snickered, carefully stepping out of the worst of it and turning Alucard so he could see their three 'opponents.' "Go get 'em, guys! Snowball the Queen!"

Zarkis grabbed a fistful of snow, and moulded it into a snowball. With whatever strength he had, he flung the snowball in the general direction of Alexander. Since he couldn't take a real aim with the 'rain' of snowballs coming towards him, he could only hope that it'll hit the target.
Alucard cheered, taking a more neutral stand. Although he would like to see his brother being pelted by snowballs, he wanted to see if Zarkis could pelt the other side with snnowballs as well. It was fun just watching the 'battle'. It doesn't matter which side 'wins', and which side 'loses' as long as the process it interesting. eek

(*giggles* Alexander is the one hiding with Zarkis and Morgan - Arthur's the older one that's on the other side. xD I'll assume you meant Arthur. ^^)
Alex giggled merrily, cheering as Zarkis' shot thumped solidly into Arthur's shoulder. "Go, Zark!" Snagging his own snowball, the little boy flung the packed snow at his siblings. Morgan's grin was dazzlingly savage, her missiles hurled with much more speed and accuracy than her smaller brother. This time, the unlucky target was Motoko, who shrieked with laughter as the three solid hits sent her down on her behind. "Valentine, help!" Alex's twin sent a bit of cover fire their direction, allowing her sister to scramble for cover.
Marian laughed and shook her head, catching a snowball that went wild before it could smack Alucard in the back. "Watch it, you guys." She grinned, flinging the crunched powder in a decent arch - and watching it fall directly behind the snowdrift, to splatter squarely atop Morgan's head. "Rule of thumb, Alucard - never mess with the ones who know angles. If there's a way to shoot you, they'll find it."

{Ah... I got all confused. xD;; Sorry for the slow replies... Hadn't been able to get on lately. >.<}
Alucard clapped happily, cheering for the angle shot. Okay, maybe he would prefer to watch his own brother, and his much smaller group, get owned. It was much more fun that way! When he can actually make and throw decent snowballs that will fly far and fast enough to hit a moving target, he will surely be on the winning side!
"Go!" Alucard laughed as he bounced gently in Marian's arms.
Zarkis grinned, and flashed a thumb-up. Not bad for an unfair match... Besides, it seems that they were not going down without a good fight! He made another snowball, and threw it in the direction of the enemy. One after the other, he threw them with more force in the hopes of it hitting a target.
