bite-me14 eek well look what happens while I'm gone...thank you Chloe for defending me and zach I already explained why I thought that they go together, but beucase I can tell you don't read very carefuly I'll say it again... I happen to like them becuase Lex is going bad, and IIII would like to see Clark save him...many say he can't be saved, but whatever, it is MY opinion as to wether or not Lex CAN be saved. I think that Clark needs someone to give him a back bone, and the whole "stuff of legends" thing, makes me think that their "friendship" can be more. Clark needs someone to trust, and Lex needs someone to trust him...And lets face it, with a body and mind like him...who the hell WOULDN'T want to keep him as theirs. As to the debate over debating, I am on the Debate team at school, and Chloe is mostly right, you CAN have a debate over thoughts, but it has to be on a topic, you can't debate over wether or not my opinion is true or just, becuase it is an opinion, a debate topic is something like.."Resolved, the governments right to know what someone is doing is more important than peoples right to privacy" (I won that one BTW) And as for your comment about this topic going to the "deepdark forgotten depths" I wont let that happen, and if I have to be the only one posting here than I will, but I wanr you I have an army or Lex'clar obsesed fans just waiting to mob this thred is nessicary...>.< Again, thank you Chloe for your imput. Lana needs trust...Just because two people need trust doesn't mean they need to be a couple...Lex and Clark aren't even in a friendship. They hate each others guts. Saying they need a friendship ok...I understand that. But suggesting two people that are not even friends to be a couple?

I can understand being into characters that are diametrically opposed because they have "chemistry", and "maybe the reason they hate eachother is because they're really in love and can't admit it", but I just don't see it with Lex and Clark at all.
I'm sure a lot of people just hate the pairing because it's two men, but I don't think that's the only reason.

I think people are REALLY misng the aspect of this thread....It is not meant to be taken as seriously as you guys are making it. I highly doubt Clex people are EXPECTING Smallville to go on a spontaneos GAY Fest where Lex is making out with Clark, Chloe is making out with Lana, Lois with Martha, Pete and Jimmy. People think it is AMUSING, they aren't basing it on terms of affection and chemistry, its not an ACTUAL couple. It is for humor kicks
