Does everyone here call them Chavs? I never heard that till the book came out - we call them Townies.
Myself I'm a complete geek, but I'd rather be a mosher (I was a wannabe once upon a time xd ) Townies look like they're trying to emulate the Jimmy Saville-esque sportswear look!

I still call them Townies, I picked that up when I lived in Essex... I still call them townies even though Chavs seems a more popular term.
Plus I get sick of seeing 1000 copies of that goddamn book on sale at HMV. gonk

I would end up being a chav as most of my clothes fall into
the trendie end and B&H gold and Malbro Lights are my life
force. Chav is such a rubbish word cause they are blantantly
Kev's and Trev's or Pram faces. And its sad to say that most
of the children around my area are Pram faces. Though where
BGBW's school is, is the home of Trev's and Kev's. Jesus its
like the whole of Croyden should be called Chav Land.
