Trieze didn't seem like a villian to me....he had to do what he had to do... *salutes* His Excellency!!! but Zechs was a confused person there for a minute....but he finds rest at last....

While Zechs is one of the prettiest men I've ever seen, I had to pick Treize. Zechs is a little too depressing (*coughemocough*) for me; Treize is always so confident and sure of himself-- a major turn-on. heart whee

I liked Zechs more to begin with because it was more clear that he was fighting for a cause...his family and revenge. It made me feel for him and Trieze seemed like a pompous jerk in the beginning...like all he cared about was himself. However, in the end it seemed to flip. It became more obvious that Trieze really promoted peace and he really cared for those who died. Zechs wanted peace too (with the whole "make war so terrible people wont want to fight" thing) but he went off the deep end a little. He seemed kinda Hitler-ish by wanting to get rid of the entire earth just because he thought it wasn't effiecient. Yet...in the last episode, Zechs kind of redeemed himself by sacrificing himself. Overall, Trieze seemed to keep more honor and dignity than Trieze.

I said it before, but this guy said it best (probably) Kyle Eldacon Treize makes a very good villian, but overall, Zechs is a much cooler character. The Tallgeese Mobile Suits = Awesome

~I like them both, but if I had to really choose only one, I would pick Zechs, because I love his long sexy blonde hair. Plus I like a guy who slightly mysterious (wearing a mask and all...lol ^_^). But I like Treize's sense of class and elegance. That make him sexy ^_^

IMO, Zechs' "destroy Earth" spiel may have been simply an excuse to start a horrible war. He knew he'd enough people to join him for a nice war, and he planned it all so he could stop short of truly devastating Earth's ecosystem. If you look at it from that point of view, he's pretty much a super genius.

*imitates Al Gore* So basically, our global warming problems are solved. There's this guy in space who says he'll crash his battleship and cause a deep freeze. Now we just have to find more oil... sweatdrop

Miliardo is very sexy, hence the nickname, but I definitely have to choose Treize.
Zechs gets rattled far too easily. We hardly ever see Treize as anything other than composed and in charge, and extremely charismatic. He's intelligent and spends a lot of time thinking his way through his feelings/problems, as is shown by the philosophical nature of his speeches (even if they are a bit long-winded). He not only talks the talk, but he walks the walk, too, in that his actions follow his words. Treize also sticks to his guns, and doesn't change his mind every other episode on what he should do. rolleyes
And is there anything sexier than Okiayu Ryoutarou's voice? I dare you to find it. heart

I think David Kaye's voice is pretty good too. 3nodding In Japanese, the only one who can really contest Okiayu Ryoutarou is Shuichi Ikeda who did Char Aznable in the UC sagas and Gilbert Durrandal in SEED Destiny. The man is ancient but he's still got it. whee

True, true, Treize has a sexy voice no matter the language. ^_^
But, in the English version, my votes go to Scott McNeil. *grin*

Aona IMO, Zechs' "destroy Earth" spiel may have been simply an excuse to start a horrible war. He knew he'd enough people to join him for a nice war, and he planned it all so he could stop short of truly devastating Earth's ecosystem. If you look at it from that point of view, he's pretty much a super genius. I understand your point but he seemed pretty determined to destroy the earth. He did hit it with Libra's main canon, after all. I would consider that he was really going to stop short and had only ingenious intentions, but he even turned on his sister, whom he had fought to protect up until then, and Noin. (Now it's true he couldn't kill Noin, but he cursed himself for not being able to. I don't think that would have been the case if it was all an act.) To me, that made it clear that he was not in any way bluffing and was taking the "chivalry having no meaning" business to absolute heart. In addition, he set Libra's sights on earth to the bitter end, having Libra/Peacemillion fall to earth. He could have stopped short before that and he didn't seem to be intending for anyone to interfere, considering he was trying to kill the only one who could stop it.
