The Doctor Dances YAY! Mr. Scruffy is back! (he totally had that beard in everything except DW) but it's a pretty kickass look. O.O Umm... ok.... xd I'm just not used to it. I think my sister will freak out when she sees him. (She's more of a 9 and 4 fan, but she doesn't know he's on Heroes and she loves that show to death too ^^) wink 3nodding

HappyBanana This is IT! Three more days until my precious, hunky Nine appears on Heroes. whee heart Ugh. Still not adjusting to him having a beard. confused Whatever makes you happy. I'm just glad he's on it. Avid fangirl (me) has even more of a reason to watch Heroes now, because of DW actor link. I can link all the movies/shows I like to each other just by way of actors. I've even gotten a 5 chain link as my personal best! XDD

I never watched Heroes. Something about that "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World" tag-line struck me as being kind of corny, so I just never tuned in.
So from what I gather Eccleston's character is named Claude and turns invisible. The writers are guaranteeing he'll "instantly become one of your favorites" (http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/newsitem.cgi?id=9411)
Even though I don't plan on following the show, I'm curious to see what you folks think.

No, it's really awesome. And the tag line changed. So HA. Trust me, he already is. And he was only on it for 6 min in this episode max. It was so OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG WTH WIERD!!!!!!! He has a full beard, and even my sister who's seen all of the Ninth Doctor didn't recognise him!!!!!! Plus he kinda shout/whispers for the one bit that he's talking and not maniacally laughing. o.0 You'd like it. Really.

I noticed his name in the credits at the beginning, and that was the only reason I had any idea that he was going to be on it... So after I saw his name in the credits, I was all, "OMGCHRISTOPHERECCLESTON!" and my mum looked it up and informed me he's invisible. I basically spent the entire episode watching carefully for anyone invisible. xd But then there was that whole dream sequence thing Peter was having. Eccleston has a very distinctive nose. If it wasn't for that, I'd have never recognized him. He's got hair!

Hmm. Well, I hate jumping into the middle of a non-episodic series. Maybe I'll pick up the season 1 DVD set, whenever it comes out. Is it true Eric Roberts will also be joining the show? So that'll be a Doctor and a Master then...

Dunno. It actually is really eposodic though.
Loved the show, especially the invisible fight. That poor vendor!! Any one catch what the next time though was? I missed that part.

It was the last actor name in teeny letters, but I *squee'd* when I saw it. ^^ Then I kept watching and realized he was the guy maniacally laughing throughout Peter's dreams. And then at the end all he talked was shouting, so I never got to hear the accent really. But it was soo weird seeing him with a beard.... eek

If it's so episodic, then why when I missed the episode before hiatus and saw this, was I so confused? I miss 2 episodes total, and have no idea what's going on...
I'm glad I kept this thread alive..sorta.... I do that to all the other threads too. xD

On Heroes, Claude (whom we all know and love as Nine)
the first thing that he says that he's not shouting (of course) is "Fantastic."

And nobody but Doctor Who fans would get the reference. He could have said anything else and it would still have worked for the scene, but that was awesome!!!
Besides, I've grown to like him, even with his beard. It just works. And he's a 'fantastic' actor, with or without it.
I just want the freaking credits to stop saying he's just a "guest-star".... mad
