I've always had a curiosity in the (occult) so to say. And none of my befiefs fit in with other mainstream religion. After a close friend of mine started studying about wicca she mentioned to me that allot of my beliefs and practices fit perfectly from the moment I purchaed my first book on the subject I knew I had found my path. I am now raising my three daughters to be wiccans/witches and I look forward to my continued journey down the path with the ones I love. I also meeting new friends and I am grateful this guild has accepted me as a new member. Thank you and I look forward to meeting new friends.

I always went to church when I was little but stopped going and I didn't know why. Something in my head told me christianity was not for me. When I was about 13 I started doing research on witches and wizards (my intrests). I found paganism and wiccan websites and was hooked. I haven't found my path yet but I hope to with the help from other members of this guild.I have been practicing magic from the web and one of my friends who is into the wiccan way told me they never work and I would like to show her certian websites do work such as gaia.

I was raised completely without religion. There was never a 'god' in anything that came up in my daily life. I began doing research into the supernatural when I was about 13, promptly had some bad experiences and shut the book on that part of myself for years.

My path is a gathering of all things I find useful, believable, and logical from anything I come across in my travels.

Strangely enough, I was a Christian trying to bring my pagan friend back to God, when I realized that the research I was doing on paganism made more sense to me than any Bible-study group I had ever been in, because I had also been an unawares witch, loving to play in nature, playing "games" to make myself believe it magick wasn't real! xd

My whole life My mother was wiccan. My mother never pushed the craft on me but let me find it she used to say where you chose is your choise not mine. As I grew up I went from religon to religon (Ex. Christianity, none, budasim, and many others) . I always saw and spoke to the unseen. I finally asked my mother about wicca and other pegan religons when I was 11 or 12 and came to see that I could belive wicca more than Christianity... My mother is wiccan and so am I though some of our practise are diffrent it is because she is more Earth wiccan and I am well That is hard to say because I have not found my true path just the main one that is Wiccan.
When I think the time is right and I have the time I will sit down and search myself for my path and when I find it besides my mother you all be among the first to know.

Well, I guess you could say I've always been a witch growing up, even without knowing it. I've always looked to nature and the trees for comfort, and spoken to them all my life. And every time I would feel depressed, and wish it would rain, it would end up doing so at least by midday. I've always felt a strong bond there, more so than anything else, and more important than anything else. I began looking into it, and found it right for me.

You know, Eluveitie, I've actually heard a lot of people say similar, and I certainly felt a decidedly non-christian reverence for nature when I was a child. I wonder why so many of us seem to follow this path before we even know that it's here?

hmmm.
i'm not sure.
maybe we were also pagan in a past life and the emotions and pull have followed us?
or maybe we were just born that close...
