Yes, more OLD stories. But some other things too.
The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne
Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain
The Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer
Animal Farm by George Orwell
The Red Badge of Courage by Stephen Crane
Beowulf
Man on Fire by AJ Quinnell
Any of the books by Shirley Jackson or Octavia E. Butler
So, have you? What did you think? Did you like them? I did ^_^...except I never finished
The Canterbury Tales and
Beowulf. Need to do that...
I've read
The Scarlet Letter,
Animal Farm, and
Beowulf. The Scarlet letter was pretty good, but it had a chapter that I thought was kind of campy towards the end. Animal Farm, I found extremely sad...it angered me. Which is what I suppose it is suppose to do. I didn't like Beowulf. I know it is a classic, but something about it disagreed with me.
I really want to read The Canterbury Tales, but I am having trouble finding an unabridged copy of it at the Half-Price books where I shop.
