Close...that word sounded nice. Lupis hadn't been close to a human in a while. She smiled in into his neck as something flashed into her minds, "I wonder if Syfka and Tuomas ever broke into a fight like I thought they would. And if he had any luck with Razz....." She buried her head into Kurtis' chest, "And Luna, I hope she's ok..." She kissed the chest exposed at the V of his shirt.

"Oh, nothing really, its just nice when you hold me." She chuckled "And I still have yet gotten my ID. I should do that tomorrow before the semester starts...." She felt no real need to talk. Being held by Kurtis' was great in itself, and kissing was good too. She was just a little baffled by why he would choose a young akward girl like her to be with.

Lupis smiled "With me of course. The bed is too big for one person." LEading him to her bedroom she showed him the massive bed. It was intricately carved with swirling patterns from a fine dark wood. The sheets were downy and soft, and clearly expensive. It looked extremely out of place compared to Lupis' other cheap but well used items. "Syfka gave me this bed, though I do not kow what possesed her, it is most unlike me." She went into the chest at the foot of the bed and took out an oversized shirt and pants. She went into the bathroom to change.

Lupis walked out, wearing an oversized shirt that hung looselt over her body and loose pants. She noticed Kurtis examining the bed, "It was made someime during the Victorian age, its very old. Syfka wouldn't tell me why she gave it to me, but I think I know why...." She said as she traced a scene depicting the sea and mermaids.

Lupis nodded, her eyes still thoughtful. She sat down besides him. Sitting, her legs couldn't touch the ground, the bed was that high. She toyed with the pouch around her neck and sighed. She threw back the covers and crawled into the middle. Sitting up, she patted the seat besides her, "This bed is too big, unless you sit in the middle your bound to fall down." She said this with the experience of being pushed out by her animals several times after making the mistake of sleeping by the edge.

Lupis smiled and kissed him back, curling around him. First Rufus came, laying spread out at the end of the bed. Then her 6 cats arranged themselves gracefully around the couple. Various animals came, birs perches on the head board and foot of the bed, mice found their way also, unafraid of the cats who ignored them. Soon they were surrounded by sleeping animals. Smiling she nuzzled his neck "Looks like the animals are way ahead of you." She played with his hair again.

"I think it's a sort of truce between them." Lupis said, "Whatever the case they tolerate each other." She giggled as Rufus licked her ear. She had the sudden thought that she would like Kurtis to lick her ear, but she pushed it away, confused by the thought. "Mmm this is nice." She said, wiggling closer to him. The animals formed a blanket around herm and Kurtis' warm body was like an anchor keeping her afloat. She traced his scars absently with one finger, watching goosebumbs rise.
