Agent Glitter Cain Hino I unfortunately bought that manga with the highest of hopes but was let down. I understand they were going for a unique style but it just fell short. I am a huge Labyrinth fan, but I still haven't even finished reading the first one (and I bought it back when it first came out). Also, did anyone else notice that on the cover art Jareth's eyes aren't mismatched like they should be? Yeah! I remember being really disappointed for it when the first cover art was leaked way back last year... I don't even think it was colored in then. But I figure, you know. The point was that Jareth is Jareth and it's not a comic about David Bowie, but a comic about the Labyrinth and the Goblin King. Eh. Still. Those bewitching mismatched eyes... oh wow I sound like a f**. p***s p***s p***s p***s p***s. domokun domokun domokun domokun domokun domokun Lmao, true it is about the goblin king but since they based everything else off of Bowie I wish they would have included that as well. Of course I doubt that the manga could have been nearly as good since it can't include a soundtrack. Hmm, now there is an idea to boost sales. lol

The whole time me and Crison_Dragan were like. "OMG! HOT! LUCKY SARAH!"
I mean the whole part where he offers her to be his queen or the baby. I would totally choose to be him. What the hell was she thinking?!

I mean the whole part where he offers her to be his queen or the baby. I would totally choose to be him. What the hell was she thinking?!
Anyways....thats all. smile She was probably just pissy that he was a d**k to her the entire movie. I'd be annoyed too... But I'd also choose him anyway.

Ah. Labyrinth. Never has a movie so prominently featured a bulge.
I have yet to read the manga, and have heard mixed reviews. I know for a fact that the cover was drawn by a Japanese mangaka. >_>; The insides were American made, which is probably the reason I always put it down at B&N.
From the cover, it really really looks like a shonen-ai manga(why is Toby wearing a dress?). Please tell me it isn't. gonk That would make the entire 'Dance magic, dance' scene a little more disturbing... and would reinforce the comments from my friends about Jareth being SUPER! ******. 3nodding

Now, I've only ever read one other manga before, but I know when something is crap. The Labyrinth manga is quite possibly one of the worst literary let-downs I've run into.
1. The plot was unbelievably weak
2. The art didn't match the characters from the movie
3. The attempted humor was horrid
4. Cliff-hangers are supposed to make you want to read the next installment (or atleast make you angry that they didn't tell you what happens) - I have no urge for either
I've decided that I'm just going to use it as a coloring book. Perhaps I will white-out the words and write my own in later.
