Well, if you don't like Hinata of course you don't like Yue. Even though Yue's not as Hinata as Hinata. I liked Yue. I always will.

I know she is, especially since I rewatched the episodes recently. But... I can't get over how Suki is not right for Sokka at all. And Yue... just seems so right for him.

I actually think Suki was more right for Sokka than Yue.
Sokka fell head over heels for Yue (quite literally >.<) because of her looks.
Sokka fell in love with Suki because she was a strong willed girl, and because she was also rude to him. I think it's similar to the theory of "You always hurt the one you love."
Yue loved her people and her nation more than Sokka, which is why she was willing to get married to an a*****e and give up her life. Suki, on the other hand, seems to really only care about Sokka, and Sokka seriously cares for her.

Too me it seems that Suki and Sokka are a little TOO similar. The way they act outside of making out seems a bit more like siblings or close friends than a couple. Plus, Suki has her own sense of duty just as strong as Yue's, she IS staying with the rest of the warriors rather than go with Sokka and be near him. Having just recently realized how in love I am with my boyfriend I know what it's like to have to be away, and it's about as close to hell as I can get. It may not seem as radical as Yue's sense of duty, but that's because Suki's lucky enough not to be in as radical a situation.
That and from the way Sokka still has emotions for Yue you know it's more than just her looks. If that's all he cared about he wouldn't still ve feeling so guilty and upset over Yue. Even with Suki there in his arms, trying to suck his face he still thought of Yue and how he felt/feels for her. Those are some pretty strong emotions.

I don't think you understand. Suki could have left with the gAang when she first met Sokka. She chose to dutifully stay with her people the way Yue chose to dutifully stay true to her people's traditions. The second time Suki ran into the gAang she still didn't go with them, even after sucking Sokka's face. She dutifully stayed behind to help with the refugees and generically be a Kyoshi warrior. She chose to be responsible and dutirul rather than be with the one she supposedly loves.

Nothing is that "obvoius" about Yue. You wanna send me a video clip explaining EXACTLY when they say that Yue became the moon spirit? I don't believe it unless I see solid evidence.

I think that Yue will always be in Sokka's heart and mind, but I don't think that he can end up with a spirit. He needs someone on Earth.
