"Glorious earth!" She murmered to herself as she stood up and opened the trunk of the jeep and carried out 2 medium sized bags. "See ya later." She waved to the person in the car as she stood there waiting. But the jeep still stayed. The person yelled, "You know I can't leave till they get you."

Kris follows the man out the door.
He said his name was Bryan? I think so, for everyone keeps calling his name out.
Kris propels the chair with his arms, but still has some difficulty keeping it on a strait path, occasionally bumping a wall here and there.
"So, do you do room mates here or does everyone get a room to their selves?"

"Right now everyone has their own room. You'll probably have your room to yourself. If we do have to put two to a room it will be same sex room mates," he added pointedly. "The kitchen is through here. I think there's another new arrival outside." He poked his head into the kitchen and smirked playfully at Margaret. "Alright Mom, just a minute. This is Kris," he added before heading to the front door.
"Morning Kris!" Amberie said brightly, removing a chair from the table to make room for him. "I'm Amberie. Most people call me Ahim, but feel free to call me whatever you want to." She smiled her typical happy smile as she sat in her seat next to his place. His eggs were already there.
"Hurry up!" She said sharply though her eyes sparkled amusedly. "Don't give me that kind of look!" she added in a lecturing tone, chucking to herself as he left. "Hello Kris. I'm Maragret."

"Hello. I would say my name, but Bryan beat me to the punch." Kris gives a quick smile as he rolls his chair up to the table. He looks at the plate, and all the food on it. "You do a nice job cooking." He says this to no one in particular, not really knowing how it was that cooked it.

"You know they checked for matches and lighters. I can't burn anything for a while. Plus they also took my tools except for for one screwdriver." Klein said back. "Look, you know mom will kill me if I do leave you." The man said. He got out and stretched for a bit. "Do you think they'll come pretty soon?"

"Oh you're here!?" Bryan called in surprise. he hadn't heard the car doors from Kris's room. "No one knocked or rang the bell!" he said as he walked out with a friendly smile as usual. "Hi! I'm Bryan," he sais, reaching out to shake hands with one or the other of them. ____________________________ "Thanks!" Amberie replied, glowing at the compliment. She got herself a pancake and salted her eggs. "Do you want any pancakes or baccon?" she asked as she reached for the suryp."Amberie here is quite the cook," Margaret commented as she took her seat at the head of the table and got her food.

"Hi! I'm Leet, Klein's brother." The older brother said as he shook his hand. "Take good care of her or else." He said jokingly. He waved a farewell before entering the jeep and driving off.
Klein waved and looked at Bryan. More like stared.

"No thanks. I will take some bacon though. I already had breakfast, but i am still hungry. The eggs and bacon will do nicely." Kris just sat there, waiting for the bacon to get passed over to him. He felt a little out of place.
These people already know each other. I feel so alone here. What do they do here anyway?

"Sure thing. Leet," Bryan replied nodding hs head toward the house. "Come on in Klein. We're just sitting down for breakfast. I'm Bryan." He added as he walked.
Amberie passed the baccon to him and started spreading suryp over her pancakes before handing the suryp to Margaret. "So why do they say you are here?" Amberie asked him. "They seem to think I shot someone," she added with a chuckle and a shake of her head. Margaret shook her head.
"Amberie, just eat sweetie," she said softly. She smiled politely at Kris. "What do you think of my house?" she asked him.

"This house is pleasant." Kris replays to Margret. He feels like she doesn't want to discuss his reasons for being here yet, so he wasn't going to mention it untill he is told he can, or gets the feeling the time is better for it. Kris takes a bit from his eggs. "Umm, this is good."

Klein carried the two bags with no problem and walked behind Bryan silently until they reached the house. She looked around the whole area trying to remember everything that they passed.

"Good, I'm glad you like it Kris. Feel free to explore down here when you're done. I'm told that there's always something fun and neat to discover, but be sure to return it to where you found it for future teens to find," she said with a smile, then returned to her eating. It wasn't that she didn't want him to talk about his reason for being here, more that not everyone liked to talk about it. Amberie lowered her head obediently and started eating. "Thank you!" Amberie murmured quietly when he said it tasted good. She smiled broadly again though she didn't start yammering on again.________________________ "Be right back Ma'," Bryan joked, poking his head in the kitchen just for the sake of harrassing Margaret. "Your room is up the stairs here," he said walking back to Klein and leading the way upstairs. "You will be right next to Amberie here and the bathroom to the right of the stairs is for you girls. The left end of the hall is for the boys..."

Kris grabs the bacon and starts to eat that as well. "Crunchy and not soggy, that is good!" Kris eats the whole piece, then eats some more eggs. Soon his plate was cleaned.
"You certainly know how to cook don't you."

"I enjoy it...Mom is a chef...Not that baccon and eggs are really anything hard..." She smiled appreciatively though as she finished. "Can I show Kris the barn Margaret?" she asked enthusiastically. "Please? I promise not to get any of the horses out...Not even Cookie..."

She nodded and put her bags on the floor and followed Bryan and sat down on a chair. She waved a hi to everyone at the table.
